He also had us send a list of artists we loved early on so he could research all the background relations of tracks he was unfamiliar with in order to build out a constellation of melodies for the dj set. Jamie was a great listener and built a set that felt so personal and special to us and our guests. Live vinyl was such a treasure! Because we were so excited about his vinyl library, Jamie brought his beautiful vinyl table to mix in some oldies. Our guests were blown away when they would see album covers propped up from time to time of the song being played. Jamie was a spectacular host and a true "master of ceremonies" for our wedding day. “Keith was able to deliver excellent sound ,MC services, and a great time during my outdoor wedding a a thunderstorm! I was worried my vendors would leave when we got caught in a rare desert rain storm in Joshua tree. Although, Keith was understandably concerned about his equipment he stuck around a played all of our favorite songs. He has an online portal to input all of you song choices for ceremony and reception but I would recommend scheduling a call after putting in all that information. I unfortunately, waiting to the last minutes to put everything on the portal and I think I could have communicated better on a call or video chat. My wedding day did not go as planned but it was the best day of my life and everyone had a blast! I owe that Keith and the rest of my vendors who stayed in spite of wet clothes and flash flooding.”

“Our experience with Troy began with an initial meeting, which was difficult due to my wife and I's conflicting schedule and far distance from our venue. Troy was extremely flexible and agreed to meet on FaceTime. Once we decided to hire DJ Barnett Entertainment, Troy was extremely responsive over the next couple months. His website was easy to navigate and very detailed, which helped more than we realized when the last minute details of the wedding started to add up. All our requests before the wedding were promptly and thoroughly answered. When wedding day came, Troy was the first outside vendor on site. He was organized and set up with more than enough time to spare, which was important since our wedding was the third of the weekend at our venue. He worked with the venue, our wedding coordinator and other vendors flawlessly. His actual DJ'ing (announcements, mic set-up, music) was also flawless. He had a happy, easy going and positive attitude the entire wedding, which truly made a difference. We had several songs we wanted to be played, which Troy did, but we also allowed him to read the crowd and left a lot of the music choice up to him. Troy made perfect choices that led to a huge 3 hour dance party. Everyone had an amazing time. If we were to do it again, we would not have had Troy do anything differently. He had an amazing attitude throughout the entire process and exceeded all of our expectations!!”

“This review for Zeb (and the whole Sounds Elevated Team) is long overdue. Zeb is not only an incredible musician in his own right but plays the role of musical conductor with equal panache. A true “Jack of All Trades.” Some of the many hats he wore for our wedding include: -He played solo guitar for our ceremony -Lined up a jazz quartet for the happy hour -Setup the party lighting (party but classy) for the reception -Setup a photo booth for guests to take fun photos (a big hit btw) -DJ’d with a live accompaniment combo for the reception - stayed up way later than we asked him to, and DJ our afterparty (which was a VERY different vibe than the reception). He was hustling for easily 10 hours straight. And every single element he contributed to the festivities was top tier. My older cousin, a professional musician for many years, was blown away by the level of talent. It’s been almost two years since the wedding and we still get compliments about the entertainment. He and his team went above and beyond. Easily the best “value” for anything we spent money on for the wedding. I strongly recommend meeting with Zeb and gearing his philosophy/approach to weddings/events.”
