“Brian did an amazing job for our hybrid Guyanese-American wedding. With our ceremony, Brian did a great job following our difficult instructions related to some of the music to be played, and did a fantastic job on some of the premixes for the walk. He also had everything needed such as speakers and microphones for the ceremony and confirmed and communicated with us on everything to ensure it went smoothly. We needed a mix of chutney/soca and American music for our reception and Brian did an amazing job that satisfied EVERYONE. He was familiar with a lot of our music, which was awesome, and did an amazing job mixing the music with more American music to satisfy everyone. I can't recall a moment the dance floor was empty. We had an amazing wedding day and LTL was a large reason why our wedding went smoothly and everyone had an amazing time. I would highly recommend LTL for your wedding. Especially if you are multicultural or need someone to provide non-american music, which can be difficult to find in the area. We are so happy we went with Brian and LTL, it was an absolutely amazing party!”

“Business Time didn’t ask us to write a review, but we’re so excited to write one and want everyone considering booking them to know how amazing they are (understatement). They’re not a typical wedding band, and we knew their style and songs were the vibe we wanted. Easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had planned a 200 person wedding but had to pivot to 25 because of COVID. Mark and the guys were the kindest humans alive, accommodating us and being flexible with every phone call and change in plans. They never badgered us about making decisions, were super responsive, and went with the flow. We looked forward to every call with Mark. They made it so easy and it was one less thing for us to stress over during an already emotional year of planning. From the cocktail music to dinner music to the main performance, they were a huge reason the wedding was so fun and memorable. In fact, my husband and I (and our guests!) begged them to stay an hour past their scheduled stopping time - we were willing to pay whatever they wanted they were so good!! We just didn’t want the night to end. (For those wondering, they so kindly did and it was the best money we ever spent!) I literally lost half my voice that night and left the dance floor *maybe* once. Even days later all our guests are still raving about how amazing Business Time was. “We first saw Enjoy! playing a show at one of our favorite local bars the summer before our wedding and after a few songs, we knew they would be our perfect wedding band. Not only are all of the members extremely talented, but they played an awesome combination of songs that we love dearly from artists like Phish, Jimi Hendrix & Talking Heads. Once we met John and the rest of the band, we knew their personalities meshed so well with ours and it was the perfect match. They were extremely easy to work with when we planned out our song list and gave us great recommendations. When it came to the actual wedding day we were blown away! Not only did they do an awesome job on the songs we requested, they added some more that they felt would keep the party going. We still get comments on how awesome our band was to this day. “Brandon Despres was the perfect choice for our wedding! We were looking for a DJ who would be fun, roll with some interesting requests, and get the party going without *becoming* the party and he did all that and more. Brandon was really easy to plan with, had no problem splicing songs for our Mother-Son dance where my husband suddenly switched from a traditional waltz to the twist with his mom, and also deftly handled a table round-robin photo shoot that took far too long, a community Contra dance which included a 15 min instruction from a caller in advance, and so much more. Finally, I will say that he was also a consummate professional. He somehow managed to keep a smile on his face the entire evening despite the fact that we were late getting to the venue due to pictures and the onsite coordinator for the location asked him to have people seated and then 20 minutes later very rudely yelled at him for having our guests sit down after cocktail hour. I honestly think I was more incredulous at her behavior than he was, and I can’t thank him enough for approaching the situation with all the grace in the world. Brandon is a true gem of a DJ and you will not regret hiring him… our dance floor was full ALL NIGHT!”

To start, Matt was incredibly communicative and responsive during the initial planning stages, promptly responding to e-mails and joining several Zoom calls leading up to our event. We had a vision for our special day and they accommodated each and every one of our requests. On the day of they arrived early and did the necessary prep work to ensure they were fully situated to provide our guests with the night of a lifetime. They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. We had a wide array of guests and the overwhelmingly consistent feedback we received was that the band was AMAZING. No exaggeration - the majority of our guests said they were the best band they'd ever experienced. If you are getting married or have a special event in their area you will be doing yourselves an immense disservice not to hire them to make your evening as spectacular as you want it to be.”

“I've never worked with a DJ as good as Drew and his crew. Drew had sent me an email a few weeks before the couples wedding with the reception timeline (a first) and kept me up-to-date with any last minute changes the day of. It is clear by working with Drew how much he loves his job and how much he cares about the couples he works with. I didn’t believe it until I saw it, but it’s true. Tony was recommended to us by our wedding photographer, Hannah of Hannah Lux Photography. We set up a video call ASAP and after the first few moments, knew he was the right person for our wedding. It was evident very quickly that Tony is beyond passionate about what he does. Our wedding was less than 60 people including my husband and I. The dance floor went ALL NIGHT because of Tony. Friends and family members that I have never seen dance, on the dance floor for our ENTIRE reception having the time of their lives. “Everything about Pocket Change was a perfect addition to our wedding. Choosing our band was a major priority for us, as we know from experience they can make or break the reception. Pocket Change was everything we wanted, and more. From our first meeting with them, we felt comfortable and heard. They did a fantastic job of listening to our preferences and adapting that to what they were best at to deliver a great performance. They also did a great job of suggesting additions to our "must plays" that really went with the vibe we were looking for. Also, as a side note, the bride is a teacher, and we loved that Pocket Change is a band of music teachers! In addition to being absolutely perfect as a wedding band, they were also extremely affordable! We worked with some amazing vendors all around, but Pocket Change is the first review we're writing, because we really wanted to thank them for what they did to make our day special. We had a miscommunication with our venue about who was in charge of ceremony audio, and Pocket Change was able to jump in last minute to provide audio for the ceremony. They also let one of the bride's best friends join them on stage to sing Dancing Queen, which was so special for the bride and groom. There was a small issue with the wireless microphone during speeches, and their technician was able to jump in and solve it immediately! They were great at going with the flow and making situations that could have been stressful not at all. In almost every conversation we have had with guests since our wedding, someone has brought up what a great band they were. Hire Pocket Change - you will not be disappointed!!!”
