Nestled along the river in the Blue Ridge Mountains is a scene from your dream wedding. The venue itself is a dreamy post-and-beam style barn with elegant touches. The barn sits on over 100 acres of private, natural beauty where mountain tops, river bends, gardens and watercolor skies become the backdrop to your big day. The barn boasts its own beauty with soaring 30-foot ceilings, Swarovski chandeliers and romantic string lights; you must see the barn to truly appreciate the stunning aesthetic. As you get ready for the most beautiful day of your life, relax in separate party dressing rooms with plenty of seating, excellent lighting and mirrors. A stone patio adjacent to the barn is where many memories will be made with evening lighting and a built-in bar. A beautiful, wide aisle flows from the cocktail area to the ceremony site. At the end of the aisle, a gorgeous pergola meets you at the pond where you can see and hear the steady stream of the fountain.

Our wedding venue is unique because the ceremony, reception, and lodging overlook the beautiful Roaring River. You are just a few feet from the river at all times. The views are amazing, and few vineyards in the local area can rival the natural beauty of our setting. The vineyard has an elegant old-world stone entrance, ponds on each side of the main entrance road, and a beautiful stone fountain. As you pass the door, the vineyards unfold before you – the view is reminiscent of a French hillside vineyard. We are a full-service resort with event venues, lodging, a hot tub building, Chez Josephine Restaurant, a beer/wine tasting room, RV Park, and Harvest Host. We have one of the most scenic sites for your event, with 1.5 miles of riverbanks along the Roaring River. Few sites have an actual river, perhaps a creek, but this is the east prong of the Roaring River that flows down from Stone Mountain.

Our venue is beautifully rustic on 105 acres of pure privacy, complete with bubbling springs, a fish pond, cow fields, personal hiking trails, and vintage farm equipment, all surrounded by delightful wild flowers and tree-topped mountainscapes. This peaceful, open setting is the perfect place for your farm wedding dream to come true, as simple or decorative as you wish, and allows you to work with planners, vendors, caterers, etc. of your choice. The rolling green property and all we have to offer is the perfect backdrop for unique and beautiful photos.

Tucked away on a hundred-acre stretch of land, one mile outside Elkin city limits, Klondike Cabins offers a secluded escape. Original wood beams and early American antiques welcome guests to experience life a little simpler. Surrounded by 60-acres of vineyards, a 2-acre fishing pond, and a walking trail winding alongside the Grassy Creek, days can be filled with discovering what the Appalachian nature has to offer, or cozied up with a book or game of chess next to a roaring fire in the original 1920’s hearths.
