Our picturesque farm is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just west of Asheville. We are surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, with Cold Mountain as the backdrop for your ceremony. We host only one event per day to ensure that you get all the attention that you deserve and are not hurried in any way. Our goal is to make your wedding day as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. We also have accommodations for ten guests. We’re John & Jaime Boling, and we turned our corporate blahs into a fabulous dream with Milepost 1808! Growing up on southern farms, we always yearned to get back to our roots. With six years of event planning experience from Greenville Magazine, I thrived on the buzz of big bashes. Then, two years ago, we dove into planning our daughter’s wedding, and bam! I was hooked on the joy of it all! So, we took a bold leap, snagged 30 acres, and rolled up our sleeves to transform our vision into reality: an agricultural paradise, a horse boarding haven, and a stunning event venue! Fast forward to August 2024, and our event barn is finally ready to rock! We can’t wait to bask in all the love as families and friends come together to celebrate. I mean, who doesn’t love a good love story, right?

Events at Judson Mill is home to two gorgeous wedding & event venues and two outdoor courtyard spaces in a refurbished textile mill. The Annex offers a light, airy, and open feel with 16-foot ceilings, historic mill windows for plenty of natural lighting, original timber beams, 100-year-old exposed brick masonry, original hardwood floors, graceful chandeliers, and remote-controlled doors for a grand wedding entrance. The Smokestack offers your guests an intimate 3,200 square feet of event space, suitable for weddings and events up to 200 attendees. The venue's historical feel stems from its gorgeous exposed brick architecture, freshly finished concrete floors, and beautiful ironwork incorporated into the building's elegant design. Just outside the grand double doors, you'll find the South Courtyard–an outdoor event space perfect for mingling during cocktail hour or dancing the night away. In addition to your event space, Cabbage Rose includes a lounge, on-site powder room, and an oh-so exclusive parlor. Event seating is included with renting our facility and note that all tables and benches are handmade from locally sourced materials.
