Even as a little girl with my cupcake and lemonade stand, I never thought I'd get to turn my creativity into a career. I learned quickly; a desk job is not for me. Whether that was a dance class, piano lessons, painting or theater. I've also had a knack for management. Managing my time, keeping up with chaos or connecting with people. My love for photography started when I was in high school. I became the school yearbook and newspaper photographer the end of my sophomore year until I graduated. For me, the ending of that journey was the saddest thing about my graduation. I was told being a photographer wouldn’t gain me a living, and I should aspire for something higher. I listened to other people instead of following my heart. It wasn’t until after my father passed away, I realized what I should have done. Now I am trying to regain my dream, and prove to myself and others that you can achieve anything your heart truly desires, regardless of what others may say.

I started doing filmmaking in the music, commercial, and travel industry. I learned a lot; like how to compose amazing images with technical and artistic skills, and directing stories and actors to sell a product or evoke certain emotions. I've even been the cinematographer for a film that premiered in New York City. I was well paid and got to travel the world making these amazing films, but it was pretty empty. It could never compare to the feeling of fulfillment from being a wedding filmmaker. And being able to use my skills to enhance a couple's most important day of their life is something I love doing over and over.
