Jerry and his crew made out wedding day incredible! They helped run the whole day, they got the guests seated, kept everything on schedule, and ensured that Ben and I didn't have to worry about anything. When our flowergirl got stage-fright right before walking down the aisle, Jerry swooped in to save the day and helped her find her mom. We initially didn't plan to do a grand entrance into the reception, but Jerry and the DJ (Megan from Music that Moves) made one happen last-minute so our flower girl could have a second shot ar throwing her petals. You're not just getting a venue at Parkway, you're getting a whole team who will make your event run smoothly. If we ever do a vow renewal or anniversary party, we will be back!

From the moment we first reached out, their communication was efficient, kind, and they were always on top of things, quickly solving any problems that came up. The venue itself has such a charming, "Bridgerton-esque" vibe, it's cute, quaint, and truly feels like a magical sanctuary. When our music didn't work properly, they fixed it so quickly and made it as close to our choices as possible. Their coordinator, Amanda, was also fantastic and ensured everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding. It was everything we had hoped for and more, I had not even seen the venue until the day before, and it exceeded our expectations with its beautiful, reasonable pricing. The Wagner House, located in the historic Wagner Print Building, is a three-story industrial warehouse in downtown Freeport, Illinois. For four generations, the business did not change hands, and the present Wagner company pledged to continue their record of quality printing and letterpress and are still in business today. We can’t thank Fishermen's Inn enough for going above and beyond for our wedding. From start to finish, everyone was professional, kind, helpful, and excited right along with us. We looked forward to every meeting, and having Erin at the helm of the event gave me so much comfort. Patti, has done an incredible job of building something beautiful, and we appreciate all of the care she has put into her business - it shows! On our wedding day, from the moment I walked into the space, I felt like royalty. Erin did a great job of running the show, and Tara gets a special award for sprinting back up to the bridal suite when I forgot my bouquet for the ceremony! Everyone commented on how good the food was and made a point to mention how incredible the staff & service was throughout the whole night. Jon is incredible at what he does managing the bar. He helped wrap everything up at the end of the evening, helped coordinate space for our last dance together, helped us pack up, and saw us off at the end of the night. Our only sadness is that we don’t get to do it again! Now we need to try to snag an invite to a Fishermen’s Inn wedding so we can go back for a visit! Wishing the Fishermen's Inn team many years of success, and thank you for making our wedding such an incredible event. (Photos by Colin Lyons Photography)
