The Augustus in Historic Downtown McKinney is a spacious, distinctive, customizable event venue perfect for cocktail receptions, corporate events, weddings, and everything in between. The turn of the century brick building, originally a wholesale grocery warehouse, was built by Augustus Chapel King who founded and operated The King Grocery Company. Mr. King, also known as Gus, is woven into the history of McKinney. His namesake, The Augustus, pays homage to his one-of-a-kind space along with McKinney's storied past.
