Mora is a long-time island favorite ice cream spot, and owned by the family of some of our dear friends. Try Lizzie's favorite, raspberry (the ice cream, not sorbet), or Zach's favorites, mint with shaved chocolate and cantaloupe sorbet.
Bay Hay has everything you can imagine, from plants, books, and produce, to dog treats, chicken feed, and their iconic sweatshirts. Spend an afternoon wandering around then have some wine at Rolling Bay Winery and handmade pasta at Via Rosa.
This is a favorite park of Lizzie and Zach's and was one of the locations where they took their engagement photos. Battle Point, which is centrally located on Bainbridge, boasts an exciting playground, duck pond, and perimeter walking path.
Internationally-recognized for the inspirational beauty of its refined gardens, natural landscapes, and preserved forests, Bloedel spans across 150 acres on the north end of Bainbridge. Admission is $22 for adults. Tickets must be purchased online prior to arriving.
Bainbridge Island's proud Japanese-American history was sorrowfully upended by internment during WWII. This National Parks Memorial pays tribute to the Japanese-American islanders that were forced from their homes, the first in the U.S.

Take the light rail from the ferry up to Capitol Hill and check out the neighborhood where Zach and Lizzie lived before moving to Suquamish. Take a stroll through Volunteer Park and then grab a quick lunch at Taco Chukis or Eltana bagels. If you are in the neighborhood for dinner consider checking out Smith, Yalla, or Harry's Fine Foods. For drinks don't miss Optimism brewery, one of Lizzie's favorites in the city or some snazzy cocktails at Herb & Bitter.
If it is your first time in Seattle you have to check out the iconic Pike Place Market but even if you are a local you probably love coming here as well. Walk amid bustling stalls of fresh local fish and vegetables as well as historic shops. Wandering and grabbing a bite here and there is our favorite way of perusing (donuts, humbow, piroshky)! If Lizzie has ever served you a cup of her favorite cinnamon orange tea consider heading over to Market Spice and pick up a box. Don't forget to grab a beer at Old Stove Brewery and marvel at the view of Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains while you enjoy your beer.
