In August 2015, when Lizzie and bridesmaids Ade and Sarah went to New York on a road trip and hung out with Zach about 4 months before Zach and Lizzie got together...

Three years later in July 2018 Zach and Lizzie returned to that same beach on a trip to New York.

Zach and Lizzie dated long distance for the first year and a half of their relationship. In February 2017 they both met in Austin to see each other and visit Lizzie's sister Anna.
