Jessica and Whitney met while they were both working for AmeriCorps in Boulder, Colorado where they embraced the weekend warrior lifestyle of skiing, hiking, baseball games, and even a rec soccer league. After AmeriCorps Jessica happened to move back to her hometown Wilmington, DE while Whitney moved to Philadelphia, PA for medical school. Cue many more weekends out in Philadelphia, trips to multiple east coast cities, and a lot of wine nights. Now they continue their adventures visiting each other across the country.
Colin Palladino

Colin and Zack met 32 years ago... when Zack was born. Although when they were young colin hated having to share everything with his little brother, as they grew up it became something of a bonding habit. Zack would borrow colins clothes, jeep and even motorcycle when he was trying to impress girls and get the pointers from colin on how to...often to no success. Colin and Zack still enjoy taking rides together, and drinking wine out of goblets while watching harry potter.

Meredith and Christina, JD and Turk... then there's Priya and Whitney. Friends since intern year of residency, they supported each other through long shifts, difficult patients, and frustrating rotations... usually in the form of catch ups over lots of tequila. After residency, Priya stayed in Houston for work while Whitney moved to Colorado but they still catch up between shifts and support each other now as fellow attendings.
Ryan Skidmore

Ryan and Zack had a very scandalous introduction involving hip thrusts and choking- as partners in a self defense class for new hires in the ambulance company they worked for. They found they not only shared a similar sense of humor and adventure, but also family back on Long Island. Ryan then introduced Zack to his sister and now gets to call Zack his brother-in-law instead of just his best friend.

Jessica S and Whitney met freshman year of college as basement trolls in the least inhabited dorm on campus. They eventually escaped the basement and moved into a house off campus where they spent evenings and weekends watching Game of Thrones, dancing to Taylor Swift, and attending service fraternity events (they were both members). Both have a love of travel and usually visit the other person once a year, most recently to see Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour.
Nick DeLong

Zack and Nick have been friends since jumping in leaf piles and riding on the same bus as kids. When Nick's mom made her homemade crepes after their first sleepover Zack decided he would be nick's friend if even only for the crepes. They ran a tight ship in JROTC as the supply officers with nick constantly cleaning up the mess that Zack would make as he played volleyball over the clothes rack. Nick is still cleaning up after Zack and although he lives in conneticut they still find time to celebrate their love of craft brews and good views.
Danielle Maurice

Dani and Whitney are cousins and grew up visiting each other during the summers/holidays in Long Island or Oklahoma. Both shared a love of soccer and occasionally Whitney tested her striking abilities against Dani's goal-keeping skills. The real fun began when Whitney moved to Philadelphia while Dani was living in Scranton, PA and they were able to catch up more regularly over a dark beer or on girls trips to upstate New York with their moms.

Dan and Zack became friends early in grade school bonding over their love for gameboys and fear of cooties. As the years progressed their love of games kept them in contact, whether it was Zack playing guitar hero through the night to beat a song Dan couldn't, or Dan beating a hard Zelda boss Zack was stuck on, these two always accomplished things together. Although others might not understand Zack and and Dan will forever be bonded over their love for peanut butter in apple pies, even if that means they never won fallfest (riged).
Alyssa Penzes

Alyssa worked at the same ambulance company as Zack and the two quickly became friends due to their mutual love of whiskey and sarcasm, several years later they became roommates. Alyssa was a huge supporter of Zack and Whitney's relationship, especially in encouraging him to take the leap and move down to Houston. Now that everyone is back in Colorado, they often go paddle boarding and catch up at local breweries or whenever Alyssa drops patients off for Whitney and Zack to see in the emergency department.
