Things To Do

Here are some spots that are a huge part of our NYC story!

Grab Food/Coffee Near the Hotel Block

Queens, NY 11101

CAFES: Partner's Ghaya No Stress Coffee Starbucks RESTAURANTS: Tacombi (Some of our favorite tacos in the city!) Juliet's Pizza Levante (Italian) Ooi Sushi & Bar FAST CASUAL: Chipotle Xi'an Famous Foods (Chinese noodles) Sweetgreen (Salads) FOOD HALL: JACX&CO (food stalls with various cuisines and a wine bar)

Enjoy a Meal at Some of our Favorite Restaurants in Manhattan and Brooklyn

Explore DUMBO

Brooklyn, NY 11201

DUMBO is a part of Brooklyn that stands for District Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass. Its cobblestone streets lead you right up to the East River, with beautiful views of the Manhattan, Brooklyn and Williamsburg Bridges! The Brooklyn Bridge is pedestrian friendly for a fun little trek. We also love perusing the nearby Time Out Market for food and shopping, or any of the amazing local pizzerias!

Get Panorama Views of NYC at the Edge (Hudson Yards)

30 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001
, (332) 204-8500

The views are worth the ticket. We went here on a freezing cold day in January a couple years ago and had a blast despite the wind! Hudson Yards also has a great Spanish food market and shopping, so this is a great place for an hours-long excursion.

Stroll Along The High Line (Chelsea, Manhattan)

New York, NY 10011
, (212) 500-6035

The Highline is an above-ground railway turned into a beautiful public park with sculptures and great views of downtown Manhattan! This was one of our first pandemic dates and a place we hold near and dear to our hearts.

Check out the Whitney Museum of American Art

99 Gansevoort Street, New York, NY 10014
, (212) 570-3600

A fantastic collection of American art right near The Highline

Avoid Times Square at All Costs (unless you're going to a Broadway play and want to take us!)

New York, NY 10036

No but seriously, the crowds here are insane. If you are going to take in a show or the sights, we recommend eating in a different neighborhood before/after to avoid long lines and overpricing.

Meander through Central Park

New York, NY
, (212) 310-6600

The location of our second open air pandemic date! For picnics check out Sheep's Meadow or Strawberry Fields, for a lovely walk see the reservoir, and for fun on the water visit the Boathouse!

For all the days along the way
