Our dress code is creative black tie optional. So, if you’re going for the black tie look (e.g. a tux or floor length gown), feel free to think out of the box with your colors and patterns! If not, just formal wear is completely fine too (e.g. suits, dressy jumpsuits and dressy cocktail dresses). Whatever your choice, free to dust off your more extra looks—we’re excited to see all the color (excluding white/cream/ivory/bone, obviously), patterns, sequins, ruffles, and feathers you’ve got to fully celebrate our music festival theme!
We love you and your children so much! However, due to space restrictions at the venue, we ask that you only bring your children if your invitation says “The [Name] Family.”
Due to limited venue space, we ask that you only bring a plus one if your invitation states your name and your partner’s name or “and guest.” Don’t worry though—all of our friends and family are amazing, so even if you arrive solo you’ll be sure to leave with new besties!
We love you, but due to vendors' needs, we will have to treat all non-responses by our April 1, 2024 deadline as a "declines with regret" RSVP. If this is the case for you, we'd still love to celebrate with you another time!
We are offering shuttle busses for our guests between the Hyatt Place LIC and Sound River studios (the wedding venue). The shuttles going from the hotel to the wedding depart at 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm. The shuttles going from the wedding back to the hotel depart at 10:15 pm and 10:45 pm.
Please arrive by 4 pm at the latest! If there’s one thing Alex & Wynter are, it’s punctual :)
There will be passed hors d’oeuvres during the cocktail hour and a buffet style dinner with at least one plant based & one gluten free option for every course; Wynter is a vegetarian, so she’s got you covered! If you are vegan or have a specific food allergy, please let us know when RSVPing so we can tell our caterer.
The short answer is both! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors (weather permitting), and the reception will take place indoors at the same location. No need to worry about heels getting stuck in grass though--we're in the concrete jungle, baby!
There is not a parking lot at the venue, unfortunately. There is an Icon parking garage located nearby at 45-45 Center Blvd, Queens, NY 11109.
We will have a brief moment in the ceremony where we pose for the 'gram, so get your photo fix when it's announced! Apart from that, however, we ask that everyone please put their photo taking devices away for the ceremony so that we can be fully present with you. Thank you!
