Flamingo Resort and Spa

**NOTE: While the official deadline to book a room in our wedding block at The Flamingo through our online discount link was August 2, 2021, you may still call the Flamingo to book a room in our block and receive a competitive rate! We are offering a hotel block at this retro oasis located in Santa Rosa on the Highway 12 corridor. The Flamingo is a local landmark -- check out the vintage photos in their hallway of smiling Jayne Mansfield at the Flamingo's pool! It's also located just off Highway 12, a 20-25 minute, straight-shot drive through gorgeous wine country from B.R. Cohn.

The Jack London Lodge

**NOTE: While deadline to book through our wedding block was July 1, 2021, it is possible that you may still be able to stay at the Jack London Lodge during our wedding weekend! Call to find out. You must call Jack London Lodge to book a room for our wedding weekend. Because the hotel is blocked off for our wedding, you will be unable to make a reservation online and you must call them directly at (707) 938-8510 and reference the Sheets/Wolf Wedding. Our wedding room block is for Friday & Saturday nights (October 1 & 2) and has been reserved under the names of Alyssa Sheets & Grayson Wolf. The Jack London Lodge is the most convenient hotel option for our wedding and after party! Located in the heart of downtown Glen Ellen, the Jack London Lodge is less than three miles away and only a six minute drive from B.R. Cohn. Our after party will be at the Jack London Saloon, which is on the same property as the Jack London Lodge.

Olea Hotel

Situated along the hillside of Sonoma Valley sits Olea Hotel. This elegant boutique hotel in Glen Ellen, California is an adult only retreat that attracts wine enthusiasts from all over the country. Surrounded by oak and olive trees, this Sonoma boutique hotel features a beautiful terrace with outdoor furnishings overlooking the valley. While we are not offering a block at this small hotel, Olea is an amazing hotel option for any of our wedding guests looking for a special and luxurious wine country experience.

Travel Note

Airbnb Information

Airbnb is a great choice for guests looking to stay somewhere close by but at a lower cost than a regular hotel. For Airbnb, we recommend looking for places to stay in Glen Ellen and in Santa Rosa. Glen Ellen, especially Airbnb's close to the Glen Ellen town center, will offer the best proximity to B.R. Cohn and the Jack London Saloon. However, Glen Ellen is a small town with fewer Airbnb options, so be sure to book Glen Ellen Airbnb's quickly. Santa Rosa will likely be the best bet for the most affordable lodging option, and the greatest variety.

Vrbo Information

Vrbo is like Airbnb, but for entire homes and designed for larger groups staying together. Vrbo, originally known as Vacation Rentals by Owner, was founded in 1995 as a service for homeowners to list their properties for short term rental. As with Airbnb options, we recommend booking lodging early as non-hotel lodging options are limited in the Glen Ellen area.

Travel Note

Sonoma County Airport Express Inc.

If you do not wish to rent a car, there is also bus service available between SFO and OAK up to Sonoma. Sonoma County Airport Express is the best-value scheduled bus service between SFO/OAK and Sonoma. If you're staying in Santa Rosa, the "Park & Ride Santa Rosa" stop is just a hop, skip and a jump away from Glen Ellen.

Flight

San Francisco Airport, Oakland Airport

San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) international airports are approximately 60 miles south of the City of Sonoma and generally provide the best options for most fliers. SFO is on the west side of the Bay, OAK is on the east side.
