This hotel is located off of the main street on Highway 24, making it a little difficult to walk to and from places. However, the rooms are nice, as well as amenities, and there is plenty of parking just outside of the hotel.

Transportation to Buena Vista

Due to Buena Vista being a decent treck from the airport, and it being a smaller town, there is not much for public transportation. Therefore, it is recommended that you all look into renting a car, as this might make traveling with luggage easier as well as exploring the beautiful state that Will and Caitlin call home. When renting a car, it is recommended that you look into renting a car that has either 4 wheel drive (4WD) or all wheel drive (AWD). By renting a car with either 4WD or AWD, you would be best prepared for driving in Colorado, as the weather here can be very unpredictable (ESPECIALLY in the mountains)

What is the best way to get to Buena Vista from the airport?

Depending on weather and traffic, there are two main ways to get from Denver to Buena Vista. We know that GPS might be able to tell you better whenever you arrive, but here are the two best options just incase. 1) Taking I-70 West all the way from the airport to the Copper Mountain/Leadville exit (195); then taking 91/24 all the way to Buena Vista 2.) Taking I-70 West to exit 260 towards CO 470; then taking CO 470 to exit onto the exit for 285 South towards Fairplay; from there, take 285 South all the way until you reach Hwy 24, where you would turn right to go towards Buena Vista *this route is more scenic and may be a better option depending on weather/traffic on I-70*
