Buena Vista Whitewater Park
For all of our outdoor enthusiasts, this is the place for you! From here you have access to some easy hiking, all you have to do is walk across the bridge over the river, and there are numerous trails you can take along the river, up the hill, you name it, to see some amazing views.
Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort
For those that want to relax in some natural hot springs and maybe take part in a massage, this is the place for you! This is a great family friendly option as well, but it does require some driving and you will need to make a reservation prior to going.
Hot Springs Stables

Twin Lakes
This is a small town in between Buena Vista and Leadville (the town Will and Caitlin call home). In this small town, the views are amazing and there are plenty of options for hiking-the Interlaken Trail that leads to old cabins and hotels that you can explore; or a nice walking trail around Twin Lakes.
What are some other fun things in town?
There are plenty of things to do on East Main Street in Buena Vista! From different shops, to different restaurants, you should take a stroll up and down and explore it all! If you are wanting other food options, here are some of Will and Caitlin's favorites: Casa Sanchez #3 (have a fun time and order the LARGE margarita) Crave (delicious Italian food and pizza) The Trailhead (it's like a 3 in 1: a bakery, a sandwich shop, and an outdoor gear store)
