Emily Gordon
Maid of Honor
Emily and Whitney first met at SAS preschool in the early 90s. Emily brought her mother’s engagement ring to preschool for show and tell and promptly lost it. Whitney found the ring, and thus the no jewelry at preschool rule was born. The two were later classmates, first at Cary Academy and then at NC State, and became life-long friends. Emily lives in Raleigh with her boyfriend Edwin & lab Kenzie, and works as a project manager at SAS.
Mike Dorn

Mike is William's younger brother. He enjoys camping, shooting, hiking, and video games. Mike is a US Coast Guard veteran and currently works in material transportation logistics. He lives in Salisbury with his wife Brittany, daughter Baylor, and dog Dahlia.
Brandy Blackmon

Brandy and Whitney both attended NC State, though they didn’t meet until they both moved to Charlotte in late 2014. Whitney and Brandy were both transfers into the Junior League of Charlotte and they met during a yoga class at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery. The two bonded over a shared love of makeup, the NC State Wolfpack, true crime podcasts and documentaries, and Game of Thrones. Brandy lives in Charlotte with her dog Moon Pie and is an actor and lifestyle blogger in addition to her day job.
Eli Patterson

Eli met Will.I.Am back in the good old days of 2011, competing in epic matches of capture the flag and world domination. William introduced Eli to the concept of growlers at a get together at a mutual friend's house. Now Eli has a unhealthy desire to collect growlers from different locales while consuming their contents in a swift fashion. Eli had the pleasure of meeting Whitney (Aka Whittles) a few years back at a cabin vacation in the Nantahala National Forest, and her initial skepticism proved to him that she was of very high intellect. Eli enjoys long walks on the beach, less than 100 meters at a time, pina coladas and getting caught in the rain, except beer or rum instead of pina coladas, and writing about himself in the third person and run on sentences.
Amanda Phillips
Bridesmaid
Amanda and Whitney also met through the Junior League of Charlotte. Amanda helped Whitney get plugged into the League and was instrumental in making Charlotte feel like a home. The two can be found during football season in matching Champagne Campaign shirts watching the Panthers at Draught. Amanda works for Fifth Third Bank and lives in Charlotte but can be most often found traveling the world with frequent visits to her hometown of Dallas or island hopping in the Caribbean.

How I met William... is uh, a long story, with many unique tales filled with fantastical embellishments and Feats of legend! Through competition we became quick friends along with Eli and his beautiful wife Leslee. During our group trip to the Smokey Mountains, I had the pleasure of meeting Whitney! Between rafting, fireside converstations, board games and picking on Will... Whitney is a definite keeper! I enjoy Music Festivals and frequently dance to House Music and Drum and Bass.
Baylor Dorn

Baylor is William's niece. Her best friend is her chocolate lab, Dahlia, and she loves to dance and sing with her mom. Baylor wants to be a doctor when she grows up.
Loren Adams

Loren is Whitney's uncle and lives in Fuquay Varina with his wife and daughter. He loves to travel and works for Duke Energy in logistics. Loren is a big Penn State and NC State football fan, loves to play and coach soccer, and is an overall sports enthusiast.
