We plan to fully comply with all active Executive Orders or other safety guidelines in place as of the date of our wedding. Currently, per EO 169, restrictions include a maximum guest count of 100 and wearing of masks while indoors and not actively eating or drinking. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors while the reception is indoors. For those who wish to avoid mingling during cocktail hour, we will allow guests to proceed directly from the ceremony to be seated at their assigned table for the reception. This will allow you to order drinks and appetizers from servers rather than queueing at a bar. We will reach out to you and your household closer to the date of the event to assess your comfort level as we craft a seating chart which will allow you to seat only by household or with a small amount of others at your table.
Yes! But please RSVP for both the ceremony and wedding reception so we have an accurate headcount for both aspects of the day for planning purposes.
If your invitation is addressed to you plus a guest, then yes! If not, then we would prefer it was just you.
If your invitation is addressed to you and your kids or your family as a whole, then yes! If not, we’d prefer to celebrate with just those to whom the invitation was addressed. Consider this your excuse for a date night!
Please RSVP via the website on the RSVP page. We appreciate receiving all responses by March 31, 2021.
Black tie optional. We encourage gentlemen to wear a suit and tie and formal or long dresses for the ladies. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be on a lawn with a paver walkway and cocktail hour will be on a paved terrace so please consider this in your outfit and shoe selections. Ladies, we are pleased to offer a discount code for Rent The Runway for 20% off any rentals $75 or over. Use Promo Code: WWWEDDING502 at check out to utilize this discount!
Yes! Valet parking is complimentary for all guests of the wedding; however, we strongly encourage you to take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi if you plan on consuming any adult beverages. Safety first!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm. Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early to ensure you have time to find your seat as there is a bit of a walk from the venue entrance to the ceremony site.

So glad you asked! We have a few suggestions on the Things to Do page, including some of our favorite bars, restaurants, and local attractions.
Check the Travel page of our website for a list of the 3 hotels where we have room blocks. Be sure to make your reservation by March 30th to take advantage of our discount pricing. AirBnb also has plenty of options if you’d prefer not to stay in a hotel or as a bigger group.
We will be having an unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from using your phone or taking pictures during the ceremony as we’d prefer you to be fully present and enjoy this special moment with us. We’ll have an excellent photographer there and he promises to share all of his photos afterwards. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want. Please tag any photos you share on social media with our wedding hashtag #WilliamWedsWhitney so we can enjoy all of your pictures!
Please check the Schedule of Events page for a list of all wedding related activities.
