Sintra
An absolutely beautiful town just a short trip from the Downtown Lisbon area, where you can visit and tour some of Portugal's stunning palaces, villas, and castles. We'll likely be planning a day trip on one of the days leading up to the wedding, so stay tuned for info on that.
Porto
A smaller and super charming city about 3 hours north of Lisbon If you will be spending some time in Portugal, we definitely recommend spending a couple days here. Trains run between the two cities, and Porto, like Lisbon, is extremely walkable.
The Duoro Valley
The oldest winemaking region in the world! Located just about an hour away from Porto.
Frangasqueira Nacional
A super quaint and unassuming Portuguese barbecue take-out restaurant An absolute MUST! We dream of their chicken and ribs daily
Cervejaria Ramiro
Incredible seafood that comes Anthony Bourdain-recommended! They take reservations 3 months out
A Cevicheria
Ceviche, Pisco sours, and a really great environment! They do not accept reservations but will serve you drinks from their walk-up window to help pass the time ;)
