Wes and I met at Kainos on May 20, 2021. We had no idea the journey we would embark on after that night. He roasted me for a pour handshake and I roasted him for ROASTING some BBQ. I was in Colorado for only 3 days and I met the love of my life. I knew I could date him and I even told Annie I could marry him. What many of you may not know is that Wes didn't pursue me until 2 months later after we met. I was living in Texas, preparing to move to Virginia. He was a full time youth pastor in Colorado. So if we had a future, it would be a long distance one. Wes and I dated long distance for 20 months. In fact, most of our relationship has been long distance. But we have always been committed to one another, investing time into our relationship. Wes and I are the kind of people that will be as intentional as we need to be to meet one another's needs. So much so that a few months before I moved out to Colorado, we surprised eachother with visits to one another's states in the same month. We are in love and excited that distance is finally over and we get to be together. We love and appreciate every single person that has been apart of our journey and we are stoked to celebrate our love and story in front of our friends and family on September 5, 2024.
