Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We'd like our guests to be in cocktail attire for the wedding ceremony and reception. We will have the ceremony outdoors, so be mindful when choosing shoes. The reception will be indoors.

Can I bring a date?

You invitation will be addressed to you and your date, if you have one. If you have questions, please ask Mary and Walter.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all these new babies in our lives! However, we will be having a childfree ceremony and reception. Please reach out to Mary if you'd like some recommendations for childcare for the evening.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be in walking distance (5 minutes) of the Statler Hotel. Those staying in the Best Western will have a complimentary shuttle to and from the ceremony and reception. Those staying in rental homes (great option in Ithaca!) will need to rely on public transportation (the TCAT bus) or leave plenty of time for an uber/taxi cab. See the travel page for more detail.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is overnight parking for $20 a night for guests staying at the Statler Hotel. Parking is available for those wishing to drive to ceremony and reception at the parking garage on campus (free on weekends and a two block walk to the Statler). The reception will be held at the Statler and is within five minutes walking of the ceremony location.
