Mary and Walter met in New York. Their first date was over drinks at a bar on the Upper East Side – consumed outdoors under the glow of a heat lamp in the 40-degree late October chill. They discovered how many friends they had in common from college (where they somehow did not know each other) and bonded over a shared knowledge of NYC’s Commercial Waste Zoning program, with Mary – the manager of that project – boldly declaring, “I AM the Commercial Waste Zoning project.” Walter knew he’d found someone special. But their second date is where sparks really flew. They left work early to meet at the Met, where they took in the view of Central Park treetops in fall and dabbled in light art criticism before grabbing an impromptu dinner and then continuing to talk over drinks. Seven hours of non-stop conversation later, they floated home and made plans to meet the next day. Fast forward to today, the non-stop conversation continues… over meals shared in New York, Los Angeles, Italy, Bermuda, Mexico, and wherever else our friends choose to get married...across miles of trails stretching from Maine to California… and through Big Nights Out filled with laughter, dancing, family, and friends.
