How should we get from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

Best move is to rent a car. Most towns are remote from one another and transportation is not easy without having your own set of wheels. Hertz, Thrifty and Budget are available and directly attached to the airport near baggage claim. Reservations in advanced are recommended as July is a high season for Sardegna.

...what about from the hotel to/from activities?

Answer

Sit back and enjoy the vino, transportation will be provided. We are currently working on setting up minivans or buses to transport people from Su Gologone to the cocktail party at Il Moletto, the boat day out of Cala Gonone, as well as down and back from the ceremony. However, if you do your own activity there is NO Uber/Lyft available which is why you'll need your own rental car.

What if we're not staying at the hotel.. are there nearby options?

Answer

AirBnB and VRBO are your best bet for accommodations outside of the Su Gologone Hotel. Oliena is the closest town about a 5 minute drive and recommended, if not staying at hotel. (Oliena is not close to the beach. It’s about a 30 minute drive to your closest beach, if you’re planning to soak in the Mediterranean sun and sea.) Santa Lucia and La Caletta are the closest towns to Thursday’s evening Welcome “Ciao” event at Il Moletto and to our home village (S’Ena Sa Chitta/Capo Comino area.) There are ample amount of AirBnB and VRBO for longer vacation rentals. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have specific questions on stay and logistics.

Can we book more than one room at Su Gologone under the wedding block rate?

Answer

We have a limited amount of rooms in our room block so please BOOK ONE ROOM PER INVITED GUEST. We appreciate the consideration for all guests celebrating with us. Su Gologone also has rooms available outside of the reserved wedding block as well as a variety of larger sized rooms including suites and shared living spaces.
