Had it not been for RC Peterson and a magical campground outside of Lake Isabella, then Will may never have had the chance to trick Vivia into falling for him. RC, a mutual friend/Formula 1 expert/water-skiing extraordinaire, invited a group of friends to Camp Whitsett for a mid-summer getaway but only two people saw July fireworks that weekend. The courting proceeded to follow Vivia from the camp to the Kern River Brewery and continued south all the way to Los Angeles. Legend has it, the courting has never and will never stop...

The planning took months and had Vivia not been living in the Bay Area, Will would have without question blown the surprise. July 14, 2018 was the set date and it would be on a hike in the Malibu hills, the first place where the two said "I Love You", where Will would drop to a knee and ask for her hand. Vivia was stunned and our good friend/fearless snowboarder/photography hero Adam Thayer captured the moment from the bushes. But the surprises didn't stop there.. Malibu Cafe was the next destination where Vivia's army of friends were waiting to surprise and celebrate the special day. We can't wait to make July 27, 2019 another special day and for you to be there to celebrate with us!
