The Wedding Website of Alexis Unwalla and Gavin Patton
While many of our guests will be coming up from New York, we are thrilled to welcome friends & family traveling from around the world! Whether you're joining us from Carolina, California, Georgia, or Geneva... we'll get you here in one piece.

Hotel

Wylder Hotel Windham

19 New York 296, Windham, NY 12496
 (518) 734-4510

Located on 20 acres alongside the Batavia Kill River, Wylder Windham is where we'd love the majority of our guests to stay. Wylder is a 3 minute walk to our Friday welcome drinks location and it's the pickup/drop-off destination for the Saturday wedding buses. As September rolls around, the Catskills will be entering peak wedding season - so book as early as you can! (UPDATE: we just got the green light to book a room block. Please check back here in the next few days to take advantage of it!)

Hotel

Albergo Allegria Hotel & Breakfast Restaurant

43 New York 296, Windham, NY 12496
 518-734-5560

The Albergo is a charming Inn & Breakfast that stands just a few buildings down from the Wylder - offering guests a more traditional Catskills experience at an affordable price. Note: if you'd like to book here, Albergo may not have the 9/6/25 weekend open yet on their website. To reserve your dates, simply email their team and they will either place an early hold, or notify you when you can enter the system to confirm your booking. They are more old school and thus may take a bit longer to respond!

House Or Rental

AIRBNB RENTALS

Interested in a private or group Airbnb? Go for it! There are a lot of adorable (and affordable!) options in the Windham area that give off that authentic mountain weekend vibe. Our one call-out is to confirm the distance your rental is to the bus pickup/drop-off location at Wylder Hotel so that you can drink responsibly over the weekend.

Flight

Albany International Airport

The closest airport is Albany International Airport, about 1 hour from Windham, NY. If you plan to fly in, we recommend renting a car in Albany before driving down.

Flight

LGA, JFK, EWR Airports

Some out-of-towners may want to fly into NYC a day or two early! If so, you can fly into one of NYC's three airports, stay in the city for the evening, and then rent a car/carpool with New Yorkers up from the city Friday afternoon.

Train

Amtrak

Want to cut back on the number of hours in the car? Split up your drive with a scenic train ride. Jump on the Amtrak, get off at Hudson, and finish with a ~20 minute drive to Windham for the home stretch. We recommend renting a car in Hudson, or pre-planning a taxi/Uber/friend pickup. Note - we suggest also scheduling your return ride to the Amtrak station for Sunday.

Rental Car

Greyhound Bus

Looking for a budget friendly way to straight-shoot from NYC to Windham? You can always take the bus! Greyhound, Megabus, and several other charter companies offer 4 hour journeys from Port Authority to Windham. The drop-offs are a 2 minute drive to the main hotel guests will be staying at (but you'll likely still want someone to pick you up).

Rental Car

Road Trip!

For the majority of friends coming up from New York City, our best recommendation is to rent a car/Turo and carpool up with others. As you'll see in the 'Things To Do' tab, there's so much to take advantage of in the Catskills for this mountain weekend. Having a car handy will let you travel around to do it all. Plus, that 2.5 hour drive from NYC to Windham makes for an easy door-to-door commute!
