Bride
I met Michael on my first full day of bus driving for UTS, and have never thought about anyone else since (it was pretty annoying at first). Michael re-introduced me to Christ, and he has encouraged me so much in my growth in all manners of life. I love all sorts of art, particularly those I can make myself, and the majority of the wedding decorations will be made by myself and my bridal party. I am only 5 feet tall, but that doesn't stop me from following my dreams, or marrying a man who requires me to wear at least 4 inch heels to get us both in a photo.

I first met Holly through UTS. Watching such a tiny, messy-haired person be so excited to receive her CDL, I was overwhelmed with her adorableness and beauty. After speaking with her, I wanted to know her even more, and the rest is history! I went to UVA for Mechanical Engineering (grad. May 2017), sang in CHoosE and the University Singers for all of college, and am now a supervisor at the UVA Transit System (UTS). I am hoping to work for an engineering company come July and eventually get my P.E.!
Maid of Honor
Hey I’m Rebekah. I am Holly’s little sister! I am a fun and easy going person. I love Holly and Michael and am excited about their future together!! Often mistaken for the older sister (5 years younger than Holly), I am strong, smart, hilarious, a strong Alto II, and getting ready to graduate from Waynesboro High School in May 2018.
Maid of Honor
Hi, I'm Courtney. Holly and I lived on the same hall at UVA first year, are both graduating UVA Architecture in May 2018, love to run, paint, draw, eat, and yet did not become friends until the end of 2nd year, when I invited Holly to join my Chi Alpha small group at UVA. Anyway, I know the lovely Holly as a dear friend, fellow architect/designer, and most importantly as a sister in Christ.
Bridesmaid
Claire and Holly met at church when Holly was in 6th grade and Claire was in 7th. Claire convinced Holly to join cross-country, play in jazz band, do art, audition for concert choir, go on mission trips... basically, Claire has been the most amazing and encouraging influence in Holly's life, so of course she is a bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Hello, I'm Laren! I'm even more pumped about this wedding than I was about this watermelon (which was already super pumped as you can tell). Holly and Michael are both so special to me, and they couldn't be more perfect for each other. Holly is an honorary CHoosiE, a fellow bus enthusiast, my co-leader in Chi Alpha, and a very dear friend of mine. I'm so excited for Michael and Holly to get hitched!
Bridesmaid
When Holly needed a roommate, my boyfriend (they worked together) called me and said we would get along great! Two years, a cat, two apartments, and an architecture minor later and we are still friends.

Groomsman
I'm a high school math teacher who loves Jesus, music, exercising, deep conversations, and trying out new things. I met Michael when he joined CHoosE, UVA's only Christian a cappella group. We liked each other enough to room together for 3 years. Holly came into the picture when I got to work (Michael and I both drove buses) and saw Michael talking to this girl. By the way they talked, I sensed something big happening - and here they are now!
Groomsman
I’m a graduate student at UVA. I first met Michael few days before the start of our first year of college. Despite some extreme passive aggressiveness on both sides, a strange friendship developed and I thank God every day for that. One day, I received a message from Michael about his lunch date with this girl from work. Little did I know how this lunch date was going to change everything… Individually, Michael and Holly are two of the most honorable and dependable people I have ever known but when you put the two of them together, they become a team of pure awesomeness. Seeing their relationship blossom and being touched by their love for God, life and each other, I am honored and thrilled to be a part of the start of their new life together!

Mother of the Groom
One of the best things about being a parent is watching your children grow and learn through each phase of life. From Michael’s infancy I have marveled that God trusted me to be his mom. So as he navigated walking and talking, bicycles and vehicles, elementary and high school, saxophones and tennis, and developing a personal relationship with Jesus, I encouraged, cheered and prayed. Then he calls me one day and asks me to pray for someone at UVA - “Her name is Holly; she’s my girlfriend.” Throughout this new phase of his life I marvel at how God is growing them together. Welcome to the family, Holly! I have been praying for you since Michael’s infancy, too.
Father of the Bride
Hello, I'm Holly's dad and a high school history teacher in Waynesboro. Holly told me she had met someone that she wanted to introduce me to. Being her dad I was happy she wanted me to meet him. I knew as soon as I met him that he was a Good choice! Michael and I have talked many times and he called me this past summer to meet him for coffee and I knew what was coming. Holly didn't know for months that we had spent about 3 hours talking and he asked for permission to marry my daughter. Obviously an intelligent young man and I think it will be a Good match.
Mother of the Bride
I am Holly’s mom. She has always been a shining light in my life. I am so grateful for her and for Michael in her life. It is a special gift to find someone who loves you deeply and who sees the full beauty of what you bring into the world. I believe Michael does this for Holly and that she does the same for him.
Usher
Holly and I met at architecture orientation and became fast friends. We would later share an apartment, so as her flatmate I can honestly say I’ve seen her at her best and worst. Michael brings out the best in Holly and I’m so happy they met!

The boyfriend of Holly's cousin, Christine Fontaine, totally roped into this job so Christine can also go to the rehearsal dinner.

Photographer
I (Holly) first met Aly in 2016 at a Thanksgiving event in Michael's hometown. She and her husband, Clay, attended Michael's hometown church, and I instantly fell in love with her style, her smile, and her amazingly sweet personality. She has a passion for creativity & people and those two passions have culminated into a career and love for photography. See more about the wonderful Aly at her website: http://alysprecher.com.
Music
CHoosE: Christian Hoos' Exalt - the only Christian a cappella group here at UVA, of which Michael was a member for all four years of college, as were groomsman Shieun and bridesmaid Laren! You will hear them singing amazing music throughout the ceremony - be prepared to be amazed! If you need to hear more, look them up on Spotify, iTunes, and any other music network you may use. Visit them at: https://christianhoosexalt.wordpress.com.
Dress Maker
I (Holly) have known Sarah since I was very small, and my mother has known her even longer. The constant hemmer and fitter of all of my choir and prom dresses, Sarah has shown her incredible talent so well by MAKING THE WEDDING DRESS FROM SCRATCH. I know. And yes I’m serious.
Ring Bearer
Holly wanted Micah to be the ring bearer since she got engaged - it’s those curls, and those cheeks, for sure.
