Travel Note
Did you make advance arrangements with your hotel to be picked up from the airport? Many hotels/casas offer airport transportation by sedan or suburban. Just ask them when you are booking your hotel. We love using Angelica (a friend of Nancy Turner). Angelica has transportation to and from all 3 airports. Tell Angelica you are with the Sweeney/Turner wedding. www.AngelicaTours.com contact@angelicatours.com BOOKATOUR (shared trips will lower rates) Use this link: https://forms.gle/ZHpPmFFsrYqYMLGk9 Or use the contact information below and tell them you are with the Sweeney/Turner wedding. HOLA@BOOKATOUR.MX / +52 (415) 152-0198 The usual tip for this type of driver is about $15-$20 if you have golf clubs or extra baggage. Taxi cabs are available and usually charge per person.
Travel Note
1. Don't forget your PASSPORT; Make sure it is valid! Passports should have at least six months of validity when traveling internationally. 2. Also, it is a good idea to contact your bank before leaving. 3. The best exchange rates are at the local banks in San Miguel (rather than the airport). Most shops/restaurants take major credit cards/US dollars but we also suggest having some pesos just in case. 5. Contact your cell provider: While restaurants/hotels provide WiFi, we suggest checking with your provider to avoid roaming fees. Lastly: Please bring comfortable shoes that won't hold you back! Also, you might think about layering clothes. San Miguel is located in the mountains (not the beach) . It gets cooler at night. February fluctuates from mid 80s in the day, dropping to the mid 50s at night.
