Hiking - Woolman Hill Retreat Center
Hiking right at the wedding venue! Woolman Hill is graced with 110 acres of open meadows and woodlands. The main campus is surrounded by large open meadows; beyond them, trails lead into the forest in all directions. The dark night sky is perfect for stargazing. Woolman Hill is at the end of a country road, with very little traffic.
Mike's Maze
One of our favorite Fall activities! A theatrical corn maze with hot cider, a snack bar, and the occasional horse-drawn hay ride. There's usually a nighttime beer-crawl through the maze this weekend each year. Check back closer to August/September 2024 for advanced tickets
Tree House Brewing Company - Deerfield
A Western Mass classic! We love the pizza here :) Great beer, great vibes, and occasionally great live music
South Sugarloaf Mountain
Scenic hiking and picnic spots - bring your boots or sneakers!
Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory
Yankee Candle
A classic Deerfield visit! They have Fall Weekend events full of horse-drawn rides, pumpkin painting, scavenger hunts...and of course a huge village of Yankee Candles, Beer, and Pizza
Look Memorial Park
Paved walking paths, mini golf, a wildlife center, and a steamer train all surrounded by stunning foliage. Parking at Look Park is $5 Monday - Thursday, $10 on Saturdays and Sundays
Bridge of Flowers
A bridge...full of flowers! Very pretty and in a cute little town. If you plan on grabbing a coffee or a treat at Mocha Maya's, check the business hours!
Mocha Maya's Coffee House
Open 7 days a week, 7am-5pm. Sam helps a neighboring potter and they always grab sandwiches or sweets at Maya's!
Hope & Olive
Our latest obsession! It's just around the corner from Chloe's job at Artspace. Fabulous vibes, great cocktails, and huge portions. It's terribly difficult picking what to order, so come hungry!
Mesa Verde
The best Mexican food we've had in Massachusetts, also around the corner from Chloe's job at Artspace! The enchiladas nearly made Sam cry from joy - they tasted like home. Chloe got teary-eyed simply from their outstanding blackened-catfish tacos
Village Pizza
Quick, greasy-good pizza! Order it by the slice, by the pie, or late(er) at night. They also have sandwiches, calzones, pasta, you name it!
