Laura and Kaitlin met in college at the University of Northern Colorado where Laura was a soccer star and Kaitlin was good at finding 2-for-1 drink deals. They decided to live together post-college in Denver, CO and spent the next six years navigating their 20s side-by-side. Laura is a constant teacher to Kaitlin about what God's love looks like and is an amazing example of how to not just be a good friend, but a good person. Fun Fact: Laura is married to Clay, who Kaitlin went to high school with. It really is a small world after all.

Jack and Tyler have known each other since elementary school and became good friends in high school and college. From skydiving to doing marathons and ski races together, Jack's been a great friend and someone who has pushed Tyler outside of his comfort zone.
Marissa Donahoo
Maid of Loyalty
Marissa and Kaitlin met in elementary school and have been best friends ever since but became especially close in high school. There weren't a lot of weekends in high school they spent apart and would almost always be in the same group for anything and everything - peep the junior prom photo. Marissa is the definition of loyal and there's nothing that she won't do for her closest friends and family. She is the friend who answers a late-night text, takes the flight to surprise someone she loves, and makes the effort to stay up-to-date on what's happening in her people's lives. Fun fact: Marissa has been married to her middle school sweetheart, Justin, for 14 years and Kaitlin was on their first date at the movies! Needless to say, she'll be a go-to for marriage advice :).

Travis is Tyler's cousin and have been hanging out since Day 1! Although they have always lived in different cities, they've always maintained a great relationship and stayed close. In high school, they swam competitively against each other and you can ask each of us who was faster :).
Jami Stoneman

Jami and Kaitlin first met in middle school when they would play basketball against each other, but it wasn't until the summer before their freshman year of college when their friendship formed. After hitting it off, they requested to live together in the dorms. One bunk bed and three houses together later, it's hard to imagine the past 15 years of life without Jami there. She is often Kaitlin's first call for advice because she is the example of how to lead with both truth and grace, and someone who continues to intentionally pour into their friendship. Fun fact: Jami, her husband Josh, and son Asher, live full-time on a 56-foot catamaran sailboat where they host charters and mission trips! Jami is expecting her second child (yay!) and will be missing in action on the wedding day but she will be with us in spirit! <3
Ben Kieffer

Ben and Tyler met in 4th grade trading gel pens and sharing both their styles of having bowl haircuts. They really grew more into their friendship in high school and have stayed close ever since. From going on annual trips to lake Bemidji or on ski trips out west, Ben has been a great friend.
Kathryn Bailey

Kathryn was Kaitlin's first friend in Colorado, when they initially bonded over having matching pencil bags in fourth grade. Now 24 years later, it's hard to think of a core memory that she isn't a part of. She has been a rock in her life, the best adventure buddy, and someone Kaitlin considers more like family than a friend. Fun fact: Kathryn and Kaitlin used to skip choir together to eat chips around the back of the building. REBELS.

Chris was one of Tyler's first friends in preschool and they have been consistently good friends ever since. From being in swimming together in high school to college roommates freshman year at UND, Chris has been a constant in Tyler's life.
Kelly Fitzgerald
Maid of Thoughtfulness
Kelly and Kaitlin met freshman year of college in the dorms. Kelly had made friends (a regular occurrence for her) with Kaitlin's dorm neighbors and they ended up bonding over making snowflakes together. Fifteen years, three houses, many visits to and from Colorado to see each other, thoughtful celebrations and coffee dates (thanks to Kelly), and too many funny memories to count, she is a best friend anyone would be lucky to have. And, without meeting Kelly, Kaitlin never would have moved to Minnesota, and eventually, meet Tyler. Fun fact: Kelly has taught Kaitlin many things, but one of the most important lessons has been how to turn a lifejacket into a "diaper float." Google it and thank Kelly later.

Brian and Tyler met when Tyler transferred to the University of Minnesota in 2015. They both met working at college pro painters together in the summer. It was a memorable experience and a bond they forged through paint, primer, and stain :).
Lexi Liesch

Lexi and Kaitlin met in June 2021 at a park day gathering. That same day, in true Lexi "includer" fashion, she invited Kaitlin to her upcoming birthday party and to play on the kickball team she was "Captain" on - the same team that Kaitlin would eventually meet both Alexa and Tyler on. Lexi's unwavering love for Jesus, the people in her life, Tequila, FUN, and her BIG heart made her quickly become a soul sister Kaitlin didn't know she needed. Three years later, Lexi and her family continue to be some of Kaitlin's favorite Minnesotans. Fun fact: Other than being a big part of Tyler and Kaitlin's initial love story (peep the front page), and being the kickball captain of the team they met on, Lexi is the first person to get Kaitlin to wear Green Bay Packers gear! So much so, that they went to the 2022 New Year's Eve Packers vs Vikings game together at Lambeau Field -- sorry dad.

Chris was one of Tyler's first friends he met at the University of North Dakota. They met during freshman year orientation and met up during welcome weekend at UND. They were roommates sophomore year of college and Chris actually taught Tyler how to play guitar!
Mandy Lonergan

Mandy is Kaitlin's soon-to-be sister-in-law but it feels like they've known each other for years! She has been a constant supporter of Tyler and Kaitlin's relationship and someone they have loved making memories with, along with her sweet girls and husband, David. Picking Mandy's role was a tough choice because she is equally one of the funniest and kindest people Kaitlin has come across. Fun fact: Mandy does the BEST Irish accent. Ask her about her famous "rump roast!"

David is Tyler's brother-in-law and has been in Tyler's life since 2015. David has fit seamlessly into the family and is someone who Tyler admires his dedication and commitment to his family
Alexa Gean

Alexa and Kaitlin's friendship is another kickball love story only with less guacamole and more girls nights. They met in the summer of 2022 after both playing on the same kickball team. Her character, willingness to listen and share wisdom (she sometimes listened longer than anyone should have to about the crush on Tyler lol), zest for life and all the activities, and selfless heart led her to quickly become someone Kaitlin loves spending time with. Fun fact: Alexa is an amazing cook and shares her healthy recipes on TikTok as @saltynsweeteats! Check her out if you want to up your cooking game.
