We wanted to share some hotel options in/near downtown for the wedding. We are not doing a room block at any, but thought it might be helpful to share in case you need some help and want to be in a good area. We understand that some people will make it a full weekend trip and will want to explore the city. Each of these hotels puts you right in the heart of downtown Austin by all the action. Again, these are just recommendations, feel free to book whatever fits your budget as there are plenty of other hotels and Airbnb/Vrbo options you can look into!
To put things into perspective, the wedding is about 25-30 minutes outside of downtown, so we would recommend coordinating Uber/Lyfts. If there is a group staying at the same place, you can also book a Fetii (https://www.fetii.com) which is like Uber except it’s a sprinter van for larger groups that want to ride together.
