The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors. Weather records for September 30th in Saratoga list an average high of 79˚ F and low of 57˚F.
Garden Party - we've been calling it "Mumford and Sons/Hobbit Chic." Attire that would be appropriate include: knee-length to floor-length cocktail dresses, formal jumpsuit, khaki pants or dress pants with a collared button-down long-sleeved shirt, with suspenders, vest, or jacket. Fun colors and florals are encouraged! We ask that you avoid wearing a white/ivory dress or a full brown suit to avoid the faux pas of matching the happy couple.
We kindly ask that you please leave children under 13 at home.
We will open our RSVPs once we send out formal invitations in the summer, and we ask that you RSVP by August 31st! Once we send out the invitations, you'll see another tab up top here on the website where you can fill out the RSVP questions for you and your party.
We will open a registry section here on our Zola wedding website. We are not planning to register at any brick-and-mortar stores.
Please plan to arrive between 4:40pm and 4:50pm, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. The parking lot will have cars for two weddings, so if you need some extra time to walk up to the venue or use the restroom, plan to arrive a few minutes early!
There will not be dedicated transportation to and from the venue, so we recommend carpooling if possible. You will also be able to call an Uber/Lyft from the venue. Verizon is the only carrier that gets full service at Saratoga Springs. However, they offer free WiFi that you can connect to and call Ubers/Lyft. You may leave you car at Saratoga Springs overnight, and pick it up by 9am the following morning.
Yes, the ceremony and reception are in the same location. When you park, there is a small hill to get up to the venue. Additionally, the bathrooms are about 100 ft from the venue area. Once you get to the venue area, it is pretty flat ground with a small bridge crossing the creek. The ground is areas of a thin layer of gravel, turf, or stone. If you need any accommodations to move around, let us know when you fill out the RSVP section and we can speak with the venue about golf cart access.
Yes! The venue will be hosting another wedding in a different section of the property. Cars will be in the same parking lot for both weddings. As you walk up the hill, you can look out for signs for the Redwood Grove, and once you see the sign for Dylan and Erica you've made it!
