Condado has a Miami vibe with lots of hotels, high rise apartments, restaurants and luxury shops. Take a stroll down Ashford Ave, check out the beaches, and pop into the beautiful Condado Vanderbilt Hotel. Restaurants if you're planning to eat in Condado: Santaella (technically in Santurce but definitely go here!) Vianda (also in Santurce, a Rama favorite!) Cocina Abierta Steak House or Rooftop at the Olive hotel STK Serafina
Just a five minute ride from the hotel, Ocean Lab is a craft brewery right on the beach with music, pool, and a beach club.
Hike up the top of the mountain, go swimming in one of the many waterfalls or simply take in the stunning scenery of this tropical rainforest.
For an authentic Puerto Rican experience, take a 10-minute Uber to Pinones to sip a Medalla on the beach and sample dozens of food kiosks. Try mofongo, tostones and a sweet frappe!
While Rincon is about a 2.5 hour drive from San Juan, we have to at least mention this very special place as an option while you're on the island. Rincon is a small, surf community on the west end of the island with a more laid back feel than San Juan. We'll provide all of the recs if you choose to visit!
