FAQs

Here are some answers to some Frequently Asked Questions. We'll add more here as we finalize more details!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1, 2022! We will need an accurate headcount for our reception venue and caterer. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! You can find our registry at zola.com/registry/tabithandrew2022 (yes- Tabithandrew. Ha!)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at National Avenue Christian Church for our ceremony between 5:00-5:15. Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear whatever will make you comfortable and keep you dancing!! This is a pseudo-formal event; nothing too fancy here. Think "Garden attire" : wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have been given a plus one on your invitation, you are welcome to bring a guest! If your invitation is addressed only to you, please do not bring any additional guests. We had to make hard decisions with our guest list due to our budget; thank you for understanding, and be assured you will find plenty of friends at our reception!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your children have been included on your invitation, please feel free to bring those kiddos along! We'll have a few activities to help them have fun; but if you would prefer to have a kid-free evening, we understand that sometimes parents need nights out without their children and we support your decision either way.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block at the Holiday Inn Express (right next to our reception venue- literally across the parking lot!), but you are welcome to stay at other hotels in the Springfield area, as well. If you're feeling extra fancy, check out The Hotel Vandivort in Downtown Springfield! Check out our travel page for more information!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know your allergies ahead of time; we will do our best to accommodate. We'll be in touch with questions as necessary!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is free at both the ceremony and reception spaces. The parking lot for our ceremony location, National Avenue Christian Church, is just off of National Avenue on Portland Street. Parking for The Barley House at Moontown Crossing is right outside the venue and is shared with Holiday Inn Express.

Question

Have any other questions?

Answer

Feel free to ask! Before the week of the wedding, you may reach out to Tabitha & Andrew (email carrollmyerswedding2022@gmail.com). The week of our wedding, we ask that you reach out to our wedding coordinator, Vicki Lindsey, at 417-766-2216.
