The short answer is YES! The longer answer is ... Yes with some modifications. You may see some things you have not seen before at a non-pandemic wedding - like more spread out seating arrangements, hand sanitizer stations, foodservice and bartenders wearing face masks, etc. But our desire is to make our wedding day as "normal" as possible while keeping everyone safe! Keep checking our websites for any updates as we get closer to our date.
The ceremony will be held outside, there will be social distancing between rows, and current regulations ask that each person wear a face mask unless eating or drinking or properly social distancing. You will be offered a glass of champagne or a bottle of water before you are seated for the ceremony. If you do not wish to have one of these options you will need to put on your mask. This will be the same for the cocktail hour. Once we head inside for dinner, it is requested that face masks be worn when not at your table, moving around and not eating or drinking.
Semi-Formal. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer it was just you. Right now we are under very limited capacity restrictions at our wedding venue and must count every person carefully.
We have a block of room at Hampton Inn - see all the information under the Travel tab of this site. If you have trouble booking OR you are told there are no more rooms in the block please let us know by email at GrayWedding20@gmail.com.
We love kids and tried to keep that in mind when completing our guest list. ! So - if your invitation included your children's names - bring them along. We know it will be a long day, and a late-night and want everyone to be able to relax, have fun, and celebrate this special day with us. We are organizing a few college sitters to assist with the little ones at the venue throughout the evening.
We do not have shuttle service but it is very easy to grab an Uber or Lyft anywhere in Austin and for those who would like to drive the venue as plenty of free parking.
YES! We will have an option on your formal RSVP to let us know of any specific food allergies. Please do not hesitate to make a special request - we need you to get your bellies full so you can enjoy the fun dance party we have planned!
