Balboa Park
Balboa is an amazing place full of so many things to do! From museums to cultural centers to amazing food to great walking paths, it really has something for everyone. A great place for kids.
Cabrillo National Monument
Just down the road from where the reception will be held lies Cabrillo National Monument. This National Park has great views of the Pacific Ocean as well as downtown San Diego. Learn more about Point Loma and Cabrillo all while taking in the breathtaking view!
Coronado
A little island just 20 minutes outside of Point Loma holds lots of fun shops, yummy foods, and an incredible beach! If you have an extra day or two, you should definitely check out Coronado.
Ortiz's Taco Shop
You can't come to Point Loma and not have a burrito! Ortiz's is one of Austin and Sophia's favorite burrito shops in San Diego (along with a bunch of PLNU students). Austin's order is a Cali Burrito with guac and Sophia's order is a Veggie Burrito, no pico, add fries. Let us know if you try it out!
San Diego Zoo
This is one of Sophia's favorite places to go! She has been a pass holder for over two years and never gets tired of it. A great place to bring kids. :)
SeaWorld San Diego
Austin and Sophia became pass holders at Sea World last year and it has been so fun getting to learn about marine life and have fun while doing it! A great place to take kids.
Seaport Village
Can't get enough of the marina? This bayfront village is the perfect place to explore! Full of fun shops and yummy food, this is a great way to get in those steps and discover the San Diego Bay.
Sunset Cliffs Natural Park
Located on the campus of PLNU, this beautiful park is a great place to get the perfect sunset picture. You won't want to miss the chance of walking these trails!
