This is an excellent question! In the spirit of creativity, we are doing things a little differently than how it is traditionally done. This is so we can make our wedding affordable while getting the intimate experience we desired as well as the opportunity to invite all those we'd love to celebrate with! Regardless of the parts of the weekend you are involved in, know that you have been invited because you mean a lot to us and have impacted our lives in a big way at a point in time. We appreciate your support and understanding as we pave our own path in creating our wedding!
The invite you receive via email will clarify what part(s) you are invited to. Your RSVP will also be for that specific event. If you have any questions or are still unsure after reading your invite/filling out your RSVP, don't hesitate to reach out.
Depending on what part of the wedding weekend you are invited to dictates when you need to RSVP! People invited to the camp and ceremony need to RSVP by August 12th and those invited to the celebration need to RSVP by October 1st. If you are invited to multiple parts of the weekend, make sure to RSVP by earliest date required.
Kids are more than welcome to the reception/celebration! We have made it so our wedding celebration is family-friendly including clean music, some lawn games, and no alcohol. Just know that we will not be providing childcare or dinner so it is up to those bringing kids to make sure they are prepared. Want a night out without the kids? Perfect! Want the wedding celebration to be a whole family affair? Even better. Do whatever is best for your family and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter.
Everyone invited to the wedding celebration/reception is allowed a plus one! We just ask that you put on your RSVP that you will be bringing a plus one and/or kids if that applies to you. Those invited to the Camp/Ceremony are not allowed a plus one.
Parking for the reception/ceremony will be in the First Church parking lot located right outside the building. It is the left turn before you enter the campus of PLNU. Once this parking fills up, people are more than welcome to park in the residential neighborhoods that are close by.
We are registered through Zola! This is so that all our wedding things are in one place including the gifts we are receiving. However, we do have multiple cash funds set up so we can buy some things outside of Zola when the time comes.
