COVID-19 & Other FAQs

Question

How Are We Addressing COVID-19?

Answer

We wanted to take a moment to address something that we fully understand is a very complex and nuanced topic: COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters. We want to celebrate our wedding with as many of our loved ones as possible, but we also want to be as safe as possible. Our wedding day is one we hope to look back on as a joyful occasion, not as one where our guests contradicted COVID-19. For that reason, and out of concern for the Bride's serious health conditions, we have decided that in order to attend our wedding, guests must be fully vaccinated and boosted. Please understand that this was an extremely difficult decision at which to arrive. We understand if you are not in full agreement with our decision, but we ask that you respect our decision as much as we respect yours not to be vaccinated. Please email us at gravescampbellwedding@gmail.com with any questions or concerns and check our wedding website frequently for COVID-19 related updates.

Question

Are There Any Other COVID-19 Precautions?

Answer

Yes, the wedding is almost entirely outdoors and all staff will be wearing masks at all times. Extra masks and hand sanitizer will be available onsite. Additionally, we encourage guests to get tested before and after they arrive in Sedona. At-home tests will be provided onsite.

Question

Why Sedona?

Answer

Sedona has always had a special place in our hearts, from hiking, to our favorite Thai food restaurant, and most recently our engagement. When Andy proposed, we knew right away that there is no other place in Arizona that we would rather share with our closest family and friends. L'Auberge de Sedona offers the best of both worlds with its stunning red rock views and dinner along Oak Creek. We could not envision a more magical introduction to Sedona, and Arizona more generally, and we hope you all love it just as much as we do!

Question

What Will the Weather Be Like?

Answer

Relax, Sedona is at a much higher elevation than Phoenix or Tucson which makes it much much cooler. Average temperatures for late April are highs around 75-80 degrees and lows from 50-60 degrees. That said, remember that this is still the desert (despite it not looking like one) so please remember to pack your sunscreen and your sun glasses!

Question

What About the Kiddos?

Answer

We love your kids — we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! L'Auberge de Sedona is a small intimate venue, accordingly we encourage a weekend getaway for the grownups.

Question

What About Onsite Parking?

Answer

If you are staying off the venue, feel free to bring your car and park it with the complimentary valet service. We will be going to several different sites on the property, so if you have trouble with stairs, please let the resort know and they will provide you with a golf cart to get around.
