It all started when Andy moved across the street from Brie in Tucson, Arizona. One morning, Andy's dog Cali "accidentally" ran into Brie's garage. Brie was understandably surprised when Cali enthusiastically jumped up and started licking her window. When she finally managed to get out of the car, she noticed a tall handsome man running over waving his hands in the air. Once Andy managed to wrangle Cali, the two started talking, and the rest was history.

Andy and Brie have long traveled to beautiful Sedona, Arizona to hike and beat the heat, so when Andy suggested a wine tasting at the gorgeous Alcantara Vineyard, Brie did not suspect a thing. After a tour of the grounds and some liquid courage, Andy got down on one knee and popped the question. Unbeknownst to Andy, he had proposed at the confluence of the Verde River and Oak Creek. The ground where Andy proposed was blessed as the point at which two merge into one.
