We're getting married! Come escape to the coastal redwood forests with us for a glamping weekend wedding retreat. This is a gorgeous, spiritual wedding venue and working Buddhist Temple, and as such its lodging reflects the simplicity of the intent of the property. This means that we do have the ability to allow our most wonderful guests to stay on the property, but many more lovely souls will fit onsite if they are open to sharing a room. There are several multi-room cabins/houses a yurt, and ~10 camping spots onsite for those that are adventurous. Please ask for an RSVP and let us know if you want to stay onsite if able, want to stay down the road, and if you are open to sharing a room with anyone else. Then we can make room assignments. We have pre-paid for all of the lodgings so if you are staying on-site, your lodging fee will also include brunch on Sunday morning. And he will pay us, not the venue. Cheers! xoxox
Jon caught a glimpse of Shelley in a pink wig and red outfit on the dating site OK Cupid and reached out for a connection, asking "How's your pandemic treating you?" Shelley, passively looking: "I'm enjoying being alone." (She was doing her thing, beach bike rides with Codydog, yoga, meditation, inner peace...) but a way to cut short a good thing! Another month went by and this same person popped up on another dating site. This time, she was happy to set up a date! This was 3 months into the Pandemic when there was a brief 3-week window when restaurants opened up again. Jon drove all the way from Burbank to Long Beach (a very far drive) to meet this mystery woman. Lo and behold, within a very short time, Jon knew there was something special about her. The rest, they say, is history.
