Wedding Party

Gregory Chronopolos

Officiant

Greg and I met at my first teaching job in San Diego. For 11 years he was a main staple in my "lunch crew", where he not only welcomed me at work, but also introduced me to The Old Aztecs. Over the years, Jeremy and Greg developed their own sincere bond and friendship. At a time of need he even took Jeremy and I in as "roommates", and we are forever grateful to his love and support. I used to be a supporter to him on the pitch, but he ended up being one of the biggest supporters for my life, and future marriage to Jeremy. We are so blessed he will be marrying us on our special day.

Brandon Hausauer

Ring Bearer

Brandon and I have been friends since high school, introduced through mutual friends. Quickly we found ourselves hanging out almost every weekend, playing pool or watching movies and playing video games in the basement. Brandon went to school at Purdue, a quick 3 hour trip to Miami of Ohio, that was made on several occasions. Those weekends always proved to be epic. Feel free to ask him about the infamous “Bottle Race” weekend. Since entering the real world, he continues to represent NorCal, while I spent much of my career in SoCal, trying to see each other between work trips but always staying close. When picturing a ring bearer, it was an obvious choice that Brandon was the only choice.

Diana Henderson

Maid of Honor

Dirty and I bonded on the rugby pitch, at one point she sadly watched me attempt to play 7's! However, our friendship goes way beyond rugby shenanigan's. The real adventures began on the road to Virginia, from the "Petrified Forest" we never found, finding out I am a "creep", to almost freezing to death in Nashville and then again in Harrisonburg. She has been an inspiration to me as a feminist, an activist, and an environmentalist. She is a leader out there trying to change the world, all while being a great friend. We have been on so many adventures together, laughed, cried, grieved, and roasted people together. I am so blessed she is going to be my Maid of Honor and right there with me as Jeremy and I embark on this new chapter.

Peter Henning

Groomsman

Peter is my longest standing friend as we originally met when we were both 6 years old. Since then we rode the bus together, were always in the same home room since our last names were very close. We played everything from ghosts in the graveyard, to kick the can. Every weekend I would ride my bike over to Peter’s to hang out, and almost always sleepover. If only we had a log of how many hours we clocked playing video games as kids, I can’t even imagine! Even after high school the video games died down (at least for me) but our bond never weakened. Whenever I need a pick me up, I call Peter, his overwhelming positivity is contagious. I am blessed to have such a friend in my life for as long as Peter. We are happy to have Peter join us on our big day.

Jarrett Henson

Usher

I am honored to have my brother in the wedding party. Although 9 years separate us, as the years have gone by we have more and more in common! Jarrett was the first person to experience “Coach Henson”, as I coached the defense of his middle school football team. I also coached him a bit in baseball, but his skills very quickly surpassed my ability to give him any pointers! Jarrett is an alumni from my alma mater, and watching him walk and accept that diploma was one of the proudest moments I can remember. Since graduating, Jarrett and I have been to countless concerts, with Dad too, and had many conversations about the working world. We are so happy to have Jarrett be a part of our celebration, and will add to a laundry list of great moments!

Kevin Hoos

Groomsman

Kevin is another friend introduced through others. Over the years, we've had so many precious moments…I will say, if you need to be somewhere, we were never late when Kevin drove. We might be terrified, and barely alive, but we were never, ever late. From breaking the sound barrier on Route 83, to inadvertently sneaking into a rock festival in Wisconsin with a German exchange student, and to always making sure nobody was left behind, if you ever need someone or something, Kevin is your man. We are so happy to have Kevin share in our big day!

Jared Milewski

Groomsman

Jared and I first met in October of 2008, and was part of the first interview panel I ever had in the sky bridge of the Hyatt Regency Chicago hotel. As I sat on the other side of the table of Jared, I was so intimidated and could never have told you we would become life long friends. This interview turned out to be my first job in medical device industry and I've never left since. When the company asked me to move from Tennessee to California Jared offered a room (could have been a closet) in the house he was renting in Newport Beach, CA. He showed me around, introduced me to his crew, and made the transition much easier than it should have been. Since then countless Oscar parties, trivia nights and Wii competitions, have marked a friendship that no matter where we each are we find time to catch up. And if you are going to challenge Jared to any type of competitive activities, catch him early because he does get better as the drinks flow. I know from experience. We are so happy to have him be a part of wedding party in such a big way!

Jamie Seeker

Bridesmaid

Jamie has been more than a sister-in-law, but a real friend. She joined our family when I was a Sophomore in high school, so our relationship goes way back. Over the years she has been a constant career advisor, confidant, shoulder to lean on, and one of my biggest cheerleaders (we've come a long way since you watched me cheerlead in high school). I am so blessed my brother married someone I have such a strong connection with, and I am so blessed to have her join us on our big day!

Jeff Seeker

Usher

Jeff and I go way back, all the way till birth. Jeff has been a protective big brother, the 80's expert, the quoter of movies, and the keeper of all memories. There is no childhood memory he can't refer when prompted, sometimes when not. He has been a supportive constant for my whole life and I am so lucky to have him as my big brother! Jeremy and I cannot wait to have him participate in our ceremony in a central way.

David Sprenger

Best Man

The original Sconnie, repping Wisconsin before I knew how cool it was. We met Freshman year of college, pledging the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and from there the party never ended! When I lived in the house Senior year, Dave was lucky enough to live across the hall from me. There’s a few hundred stories there, but just know each one probably ended with a dreaded shot of gin. Sprenger and I have seen Dave Matthews so many times together, I feel like we should get awards. We used to plan a 4 day camping trip out in the sticks of Washington state, for “Labor Dave weekend”. Being from Milwaukee, and I from Chicago, I remember talking so much trash on the Brewers and the Packers, losing many bets between their Chicago vs. Wisconsin matchups. Little did I know what the future had in store…fast forward when Kristin and I moved to Milwaukee, he was our tour guide, our social chair, our conduit to making some tremendous friends. Sprenger has been there with support, love and always “whatever you need”. I am happy to return the favor and introduce him as my best man. Kristin and I are so excited to have Sprenger play a pivotal role in our celebration.

Daylon Teel

Bridesman

Daylon and I bonded on an airplane back from Denver for an Old Aztecs championship weekend. We still owe that flight attendant for stopping us from heading to Vegas instead of heading home! Since then it has been quite the adventure. From rugby games, bus trips, freezing sleepovers in Virginia, Keisha concerts in Milwaukee, to working his booth for his amazing butchery business, Front Row Meats! Him and his wife welcomed Jeremy in as family, and we couldn't be more grateful for their support. Daylon has been one of my greatest friends, supported me, listened to me (more than he probably wanted to), sat by me in the harder times, and laughed with me constantly. I am so blessed he will be up there with me to share in this special day. As he so wisely said, "No one has more fun than us"!

Lauren Wickhem

Bridesmaid

Lauren and I met at 4 years old in Sunday school. There are few childhood memories she is not in, the true meaning of a lifelong friend. From Girl Scouts, AYSO, middle school dances, BUCKHORN camp, to becoming teachers and surviving the trenches of education in America together, and just so much more. She has been a source of so much laughter, support and encouragement. During the many single girl years, she was the perfect friend to laugh through dating with, and a true inspiration to what it means to be an empowered independent woman. She has been a dynamic friend to share the many walks of life with. She was there for all the big moments in my life, and I am grateful she can be there to stand with me as I embark on this next phase.
