Portland International Airport (PDX)

Oregon's main, international airport is located in Portland. All major airlines service the airport with direct flights. From Portland, it is a 1-hr to 1.5-hr drive to Salem along Interstate-5, heading south. On your journey to Salem, make sure and look left! As you drive south, along Interstate-5, you will follow the beautiful Cascade mountain range. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Hood and all its glory.

We have reserved room blocks with special rates at the following hotels. These hotels are conveniently located next to one another, so you can coordinate with family and friends. Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding from these hotels. Details regarding the specific schedule will be posted on the "Schedule" tab at the top of this website page. We have limited rooms available for our rate at each of the hotels. If you need a hotel room for the weekend, we ask that you book as soon as your attendance is certain due to many guests traveling from out of state. Please pay close attention to the cut off dates, as it varies by each hotel option. Important note: If you plan to arrive in the Salem area Friday, both hotels have 4:00 PM check-in times. As the last shuttle will leave the Salem Convention Center at 4:15 PM, we realize this offers a short time frame to check-in and be ready to leave for the wedding. We have addressed this issue with the hotels. If you plan to arrive Friday, the hotels have said they will do their best to prioritize early check-in for wedding guests. Please call the hotels and reference your Friday arrival to guarantee early check-in, ahead of time. If you have any problems, please contact the bride and groom.

It is also right across the street from the other hotel, The Holman Riverfront Park Hotel. We will have shuttles for the wedding leaving from the Salem Convention Center (underneath the porte cochere), which is conveniently connected to The Grand Hotel at 3:30 PM AND 4:15 PM. Room blocks reserved from Thursday July 25, 2024 to Sunday July 28, 2024. The Holman Riverfront Park Hotel is also conveniently located in downtown Salem and directly across from The Grand Hotel. We will have shuttles leaving from The Salem Convention Center, underneath the porte cochere (across the street from The Holman) at 3:30 PM AND 4:15 PM. A few reminders: - The cut-off day is Tuesday June 25th, 2024. - Rates will be available 3 days pre and post wedding weekend, based on availability. - Check-in on Friday (day of wedding) is 4:00 PM. - Changes can be made to reservations 48 hours prior to check-in. - There is a $20 per night parking fee.

For our guests staying at The Holman Riverfront Hotel & The Grand Hotel, we have a shuttle service taking guests to AND from the wedding. One bus will do two, round-trip services, picking up guests at 3:30 PM and 4:15 PM at The Salem Convention Center (underneath the porte cochere). This is conveniently located across the street and to the right of The Holman Riverfront Hotel, and is connected to The Grand Hotel. Search "Salem Convention Center" in Google Maps to find shuttle location.
