Start at the Maryland State House, and go explore! Head East towards the water to pass a ton of historic landmarks like the William Paca House and Garden, Saint Mary's Church, and so many cute shops and restaurants. Stop and have some delicious brunch at the Iron Rooster, or a pint or two at McGarvey's Saloon. Keep walking towards the water to find the moving Knute Kinte- Alex Haley Memorial.
Our wedding weekend just so happens to fall on the same weekend as the annual Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show! Take some time to peruse the rows and rows of gorgeous sailboats parked all along downtown's waterfront. With sailing being a long standing tradition for Maryland and the Chesapeake Bay, this event brings in people from all over the country to enjoy the boats from all over the world.
