Maid of Honor
Abby and Amy were brought together in the least likely of high schools: a small, private school in a strip mall. Yes, you heard that right, in a strip mall. They bonded over silly small school drama and soon became fast friends as they realized how similarly driven they both are. Since becoming besties in high school they have watched countless hours of Vampire Diaries, eaten far too much Thai food, and have never turned down the opportunity to hug it out to "I Write Sins Not Tragedies"... and they wouldn't have it any other way. Even through the busiest seasons of their lives (*cough* attending colleges in different states *cough*) they are always there for one another and have the rare kind of friendship that only comes once in a lifetime.

Amy and Elizabeth met when they were 4. Amy became one of Elizabeth’s first friends in school and has been a loyal, funny, and beautiful addition to her life ever since. Their weirdly similar last names—although Amy’s will be different soon—kept them close in seating arrangements at school and as they grew up together in the same neighborhood. Amy has taught Elizabeth a lot about strength, faith, and friendship. Amy’s the type of person that makes you feel so understood and loved, a characteristic that is such a blessing and difficult to come by. Elizabeth knows that Amy will always be a special person in her life, and she can’t wait to celebrate the love Amy shares with Caleb and all the love we have for her as the woman she’s become.

Kacy and Amy met in the theatre department at Ouachita Baptist University their freshman year. They bonded of their love of the Princess Diaries, hippy dippy nature, doggos, and all things theatre. They quickly became friends after a discussion on what that one guy's name is in Princess Diaries 2 that the Queen requested to use "hushed tones" - His name is Lionel. Kacy lives in the mountains of Northwest Arkansas working as a Communications Director for a church. She enjoys walks around the lake, open-toed shoes, and breathing through her nose.

Caleb and I met fresham year of college at our Sunday night bible study. Since then we became good friends watching and critiquing weird reality TV shows and going to Renaissance fairs with friends. He hates puns, which is perfect because I love telling puns. Word to the wise, stay out of the receiving end of his 'death glare'.

Lauren and Amy became friends during Lauren’s junior year of college, all thanks to their shared favorite movie Moulin Rouge! On a whim, they decided to have a movie night together and from there their friendship grew enough to where they decided to not only live together that next year, but also create a show together. They share a love of theatre, creativity, nail polish, and chill hang outs/froomie time. Lauren was there for one of Amy and Caleb’s first times hanging out, and it was great for her to see their love grow and see how happy Caleb made her friend. Lauren is so incredibly excited to be a part of Amy and Caleb’s wedding day. As they say in their favorite movie, “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.”

I came to know both Caleb and Amy at Ouachita. I met Amy sophomore year, and we later became good friends. Caleb and I met him on a trip to a renaissance festival during Spring Break of 2016. Our friendship started like any other good renaissance friendship, with a conversation about jousting over a cup of mead and a giant turkey leg. From that point on we were destined to be friends. Our friendship was later strengthened when Caleb took the shop TD job at OBU. I was elected to be the lead scenic designer for the first show of the year, so I was Caleb's boss for that show, though he was also technically my boss. However, it never was hard, confusing, or difficult as we work well together. I love both Amy and Caleb very much, and I wish both of them the best of luck in their marriage!!

Unfortunately, Amy and Julianne suffered through the disaster that is high school together without ever properly meeting. Post-grad, Julianne met Amy through their mutual friend Elizabeth. Julianne never thought she would make a life-long friend from this. Amy is the sweetest and most understanding person. Not only is she brilliant and witty, she’s kind and selfless. Julianne feels lucky to call her a friend and sister from another mister.
