This is a very nice hotel in the Marriott family of hotels. IT is about 20 miles south of the venue, much of it through countryside on a major highway. There are not refrigerators in the rooms, although one can be provided.

Home2 Suites by Hilton McKinney

This is the hotel we are using as our MAIN WEDDING HOTEL. We are looking into a group rate. This hotel offers a free breakfast, a kitchenette in each room, real doors - not barn doors - for the bathrooms (don't get Linda started on this, but what are these designers thinking!?!). This is a Hilton property, located just under 20 miles/20 minutes from the venue. It is a very new hotel and the staff are very helpful. Closest hotel to the venue - about 16 miles on a major highway through countryside. However, be warned that it does have sliding barn doors for the bathroom doors, and they do not lock! Free breakfast included with stay.

Very nice hotel in Allen, about 24 highway miles from the venue. It has a full kitchen in each room. Free breakfast and evening "happy hour". The BEST waffles!

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sherman HWY 75

This hotel is 19 miles to the NORTH of the venue in Sherman, TX. There are several others in the city and in Denison, which is just a few miles farther north.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Dallas McKinney/Allen

This is a brand new hotel. It shares a parking lot with the Home2 Suites, which is our main wedding hotel. This month-old hotel is a Marriott brand, has a free breakfast, microwave and mini fridge in each room, but it has barn doors with a frosted glass panel for the bathroom doors. I kid you not. Frosted glass panels on a bathroom door. If you are traveling with children (or anyone else), don't say you haven't been warned. Each room also has a sofa with a pull-out trundle bed (which is a very cool idea until you consider the frosted glass panel on the bathroom door).
