This is where Dan and Rachel got engaged! If you have a little extra time while you are in town, it is well worth the drive! We can always suggest some good hikes, so text us if you want those recommendations!

Shenandoah National Park

This is the local museum in downtown that details a lot of the local history and industry!

Fredericksburg Area Museum

This is a beautiful art studio and gallery celebrating the late Gari Melchers. Not only is the art beautiful, but the grounds are a delight to walk through as well.

Gari Melchers Home and Studio

This is a museum of colonial medicine in the old original apothecary. The tours are fascinating and quirky! Definitely a fun stop!

Hugh Mercer Apothecary Shop

This is the farm where George Washington spent a lot of his childhood. They have wonderful tours!
