Regretfully, due to budget limitations, we cannot accommodate guests of guests. There are exceptions made for those who will not know many other people and for long time partners or spouses. Please do not bring along anyone not written on the invitation.
There will be a small number of kiddos attending. However, please do keep in mind this is a mostly adult event. The camp is large and there is a lake. Children under the age of 13 should not be unaccompanied at any time. We would like for you to bring a life jacket or other flotation devices. We STRONGLY advise that if you are bringing a child that they leave the premises or go with the sitter around 10pm on Saturday. Please let us know if they will be joining as soon as possible and if you will need sitter assistance.
You are able to drive all the way up to the ceremony site and to the reception area. Some of the cabins are accessible. The terrain is grass, dirt, and there are rocks. If you have specific needs, questions, or any accommodations please reach out and we will help.
We will do our best. Please let us know when you fill out the google doc.
We wanna keep it classy but also keep is cool. It is going to be hot outside so we don't want anyone fainting from wearing a heavy suit or gown. Suggested attire would be a light weight suit, a button up shirt and slacks, dress shoes, clean sneakers, boots, dressy sandals, flowy maxi dresses, light weight cocktail or summer dresses, breathable jumpsuits.
We won't lie to you, its going to be warm. However, there is air-conditioning in most cabins and in the dining hall. Plus there is a lake to cool off in. This is also the reason we decided to do a later ceremony and reception.
They are mostly rustic. Most of the beds are single bunks, though there are some doubles. Electricity is available in all cabins and air conditioning is in most. The majority of cabins do not have an attached bathroom or shower, but you will have access to the ones in the main house/dinning hall. Some of the cabins have small refrigerators and you will have access to the commercial kitchen in the main house.

With few exceptions there are not bathrooms or showers attached to the cabins. There is a rustic shower house and then two showers inside the main building/dining hall. Shower shoes are recommended. We will also be renting a restroom trailer.
It is. Please be aware that it will take place in a fairly open field.
There is a private beach on the lake. There are canoes and kayaks available to use. We will be doing nightly fires and smores. Lawn games and board games will be available. Plenty of hiking trails and places to explore, the camp is filled with hidden areas. You are also more than welcome to leave the grounds and check out the towns and trails in the surrounding area.
We will be doing a welcome/rehearsal dinner on Friday that is open to anyone coming in that night. On Saturday everyone is responsible for their own breakfast and lunch. We are still figuring out logistics for Sunday brunch. We would also suggest bringing water and snacks. If you would like to drink outside of dinner Friday, and Saturdays events it is BYOB. You will have access to a kitchen and refrigerator. I would also pack a cooler if you have one.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide transportation to and from the venue from other locations. However, we will have the number for a local cab company on display incase a ride share is unavailable. If you are too intoxicated or tired to make the trek please do not worry, we will have extra beds set up incase someone needs to crash. There is zero reason to drive if you are unable as we have many alternate options.
Not a problem! Please reach out to one of us and we will put you on the list. Please let us know by June 20th. You are also welcomed and encouraged to bring your own if possible.
