We met at room party during a convention where our mutual friend introduced us. Tyler was running the playlist and Amanda poked fun at him for being a Fall Out Boy stan. After which they had a long conversation about all the music they love. When Amanda got home she couldn't stop thinking about him so she slid into his DMs, shortly after they had their first date and the rest is history.

The two of us were on a week long camping retreat with friends. It was already a magical trip filled with friends, laughter, nights around the fire, and time spent cuddled under the stars- watching the lightning bugs and sharing our secrets. On the last night Tyler asked Amanda to go with him for a walk to her favorite place - a stone labyrinth in a tucked away corner of camp. He started walking on one side, she on the other and when they met in the middle he pulled the ring out of his pocket and asked if she would marry him. Amanda cried so hard all she could do was shake her head yes.
