When should I arrive in Asheville?

Answer

We would love to spend some quality time with you Friday night at our welcome party (8:00PM at Funkatorium, see the "Schedule" tab). Swing on by if you're in town! We encourage all of our guests to explore all that AVL has to offer. We chose this destination to share the magic with our loved ones, so please enjoy it!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM. There will be a 5 minute grace period. If you choose to drive instead of using our provided transport, please make time for windy mountain roads.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. Please see the "Travel Section" on our website. We will have a shuttle to the venue and back downtown after the wedding. We strongly recommend using this service even if you have a car in town.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

If you are staying in the downtown Asheville area, you may choose not to rent a car as there are restaurants and shops within walking distance. Uber and Lyft will be available but this is a busy season in Asheville so please plan ahead. We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your kids, but think you deserve a night off! With the exception of our close relatives, we would like to keep this an adult-mostly affair.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is parking available at the wedding venue, however, we are encouraging our guests to utilize the transportation that we are providing. The wedding venue is a 30 minute drive outside of downtown Asheville.
