We highly recommend taking a stroll on Texas A&M University's beautiful campus! There's so much history and tradition to see. We also highly recommend stopping at Aggie Park- it's new and in the middle of campus with a fully stocked pond, so bring a fishing pole! If history and politics are your thing, West Campus is home to the George Bush Library.
Want to catch a football game while you're in town? Watch Texas A&M BTHO ACU on Saturday, November 18th! Kickoff time on Saturday is 11am. Tickets can be purchased online.
If you've never been to College Station, a stop in the Northgate district is a must! It's home to one of our favorite bar and burger spots, The Chicken- play a round of pool or a game of dominoes, grab a burger, some Texas toothpicks, and a beer to take in the fun atmosphere! And don't forget to take a walk down Bottle Cap Alley! Northgate has added several new shops, restaurants, and a fun lawn area to relax outside and enjoy the Aggie atmosphere!
Don't let the airstream trailer out front fool you! Hullabaloo Diner is one of THE BEST in town! It was even featured on Food Network's Triple D! If you're looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot, stop by and grab the giant pancakes.
If you're looking to update your Aggie wardrobe at a fair price- we personally cannot make a trip to College Station without stopping by The Warehouse!
If you are Christmas crazy like Paige, grab some tickets to Santa's Wonderland and go see the millions of Christmas lights! Warning- this is a hot commodity in College Station and tickets often sell out! We suggest booking tickets ASAP if you plan to go.
If cute boutique shopping and antiques are your thing, Downtown Bryan has great shopping! A few of our favorite restaurants are housed down there as well- The Longhorn (the best chicken fried steak), Mr. G's Pizza (amazing!), Papa Parez & Casa Rodriguez (both great mexican food places!)
It would not be Texas without Blue Bell ice cream! Brenham, Texas home to THE Blue Bell Creamery factory is only about a 45 minute drive from College Station. It's open for tours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.. you even get a scoop of ice cream at the end of the tour!
