Question

But what should I wear? (Cue, The Grinch)

Answer

We would LOVE to see our family & friends get dressed up with us! We ask that you please wear semi-formal/cocktail attire. Please no blue jeans/denim, and avoid shades of white.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than October 1st, 2023 If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume you are unable to attend.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your guest's name or "& Guest" is listed on your invite and when you RSVP, then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you. Weddings are very special, and we desire to keep our day as intimate as possible with family and close friends.

Question

Can we bring our kiddos?

Answer

We love your kids- we really do! If your invitation is addressed to "and Family", or they are listed when you RSVP, feel free to bring them along! If not, we encourage you to use this night as a date night. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm! We suggest arriving by at least 3:30pm so you can comfortably park, find a seat, and settle in before we say, "I DO"! Guests arriving after the ceremony begins will be asked to wait until the Bride has made her way down the aisle before they take their seats.

Question

What if I RSVP "Yes" and can no longer make it to the wedding?

Answer

We totally understand that things pop up and plans change. If you RSVP "Yes", but can no longer make it to our wedding, please contact one of us to let us know so that we can adjust our catering count and seating plan.

Question

Can I take pictures and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means that we are asking all phones and devices are put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony to be fully present and enjoy this moment with us. We have hired professional photographers and a videographer to capture our special day and we'd hate for their shots to have phones in them. After the ceremony is over, you're encouraged take as many photos and videos as you'd like and share them with us!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

The Gin at Hidalgo Falls has a whole parking lot that is for wedding guests only. Once you arrive to the location, there will be signs guiding you where to park.

Question

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Answer

BOTH ! The ceremony will take place outdoors with cocktail hour following on the wrap around covered terrace. The reception will be indoors. (In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors with cocktail hour remaining under the covered wrap around terrace to allow for a room flip for the reception.)

Question

What's the drink situation?

Answer

We'll provide a beer, wine, and champagne bar (as well as non-alcoholic options, tea, water, and coffee). We ask that you please do not bring in any of your own alcohol per the venue rules. Join us for an after party at Northgate to continue the celebration!
