Guests (including children) must be current on all CDC-recommended covid vaccines and boosters and show proof of vaccination prior to entry. We will comply with all local covid ordinances - masking may be required depending on DC law at the time of the wedding, although we currently expect that masks will be optional.
Yes - there will be a kids' room at the venue! If you are planning on bringing kids, please reach out to us (if you haven't heard from us already). DC has somewhat complicated rules regarding babysitting, so we'll need to work through the logistics with you to make sure our kids' room complies.
Yes. We ask that you attend both the welcome party and our wedding in cocktail attire.
Your invitation specifies whether you've been invited with a plus one. If you'd like to bring a date but don't have a plus one - reach out to us and we'll let you know if we can make it work!
We will start on time (we hope). Please do not arrive at the venue more than thirty minutes early unless we have directly told you otherwise.
No. Good luck. (Just kidding - there's a spot for this information on your RSVP form).
No special transportation has been arranged. Planet Word is across the street from our hotel block at Eaton DC and is easily accessible from area airports via ride share and the DC Metro. The closest Metro stops are McPherson Square (Blue, Orange, and Silver Lines), Metro Center (Red Line), and Mount Vernon Square or Gallery Place-Chinatown (Yellow and Green Lines).
No. Valet parking is available for guests staying in our hotel block across the street at the Eaton, but it is $55/day. Street parking is available near the venue but limited. If you are traveling from out of town and plan on using street parking, we recommend installing the Parkmobile app and registering your car before arriving in DC. Garage parking can be arranged in advance on spothero.com.
